We’re delighted to continue our longstanding association with Salute, the UK’s premier wargames show, and naturally, we’ll be in attendance at Salute 51 this Saturday (13/04/2024) – we hope to see many of you there!
As befits such a prestigious event, we’ve brought out the big guns for the day; Salute will mark the official release of Achtung, Panzer!, and will be a prime opportunity to get your hands on your very own copy if you’ve not already pre-ordered.
If you want a taste of the action, we’ll have multiple demo tables running throughout the day, while authors Mike Bradford and Roger Gerrish will be on hand throughout the day, taking part in a panel in the morning and signing rulebooks from 12 o’clock!
It’s not just tanks, though! Our fantastic Studio team will be present, answering your questions and showing a few snippets of what they’re working on – who knows what you might see being transformed from idea to reality… wouldn’t that be epic?
Alongside them will be Robin Dews, co-author of Talking Miniatures, a mighty tome of tales from the wargaming industry, master terrain maker Mel Bose (Terrain Essentials), and renowned miniature artist Tommie Soule (The Art Of… Volume Five – Tommie Soule), all keen to answer questions and sign copies of their respective books.
Gabrio Tolentino, author of the award-winning Black Seas, will also be on deck, running demos of the Age of Sail game; he’ll only be too happy to sign a copy of Black Seas, if you ask him nicely.
In addition to all of this, there’ll be our usual fantastic Salute-only deals across many of our ranges, and tons of friendly staff to answer your questions about all things Warlord – come down, grab some awesome models, and say hi! As is tradition, there’s also an exclusive Salute figure, strictly available from our stand – perfect for Achtung Panzer!, this year it’s legendary German tank commander Kurt Knispel, a worthy addition to any German collection and a fantastic miniature in his own right!
