It’s a new year, full of promise and potential, and with loads of fantastic tournaments and events already scheduled worldwide, let’s look at how we’ve improved our tournament support system for the 2024 season! It’s all to play for – now let’s find out what it is!

Same great support – now easier to access!

We classify events into four basic ‘support tiers’, based on how many players are at the event. Really simply, the more players an event has, the more goodies we’ll send, ranging from certificates to unique Order Dice, to trophies and the Event Special Figure! You can find out all about the tiers here!

We’ve also simplified our prize support system to make it quicker and easier to get your hands on all sorts of Warlord goodies to hand out to your players, by introducing a series of pre-made bundles in multiple value brackets. Simply mix and match these until you reach the prize value allocated to your event – couldn’t be easier!

Meet the new Event Special Figure!

While the four tiers of event support remain the same as those tournaments of yesteryear, and still include the fantastic trophies, certificates, and exclusive Order Dice you’re used to, the time has come for 2023’s incredibly popular Event Special Figure – Major Erwin König – to be retired, and his replacement is a corker. If you’ve not met him yet (perhaps you’ve been at the bottom of a dark… Pitt?), check out ‘Inglorious’ – a double-‘ard Partisan leader with a really big knife!

“Inglorious” – the tournament and event support special miniature for 2024.

Only available as a prize at events rated as Tier Two and above, Inglorious will lead the supported events charge throughout 2024… at which point he too will disappear, so don’t miss out – get down to plenty of events to give yourself the best chance of getting your hands on him!

How can I get support for my event?

It couldn’t be easier – just drop an email to info@warlordgames.com and ask to speak to Jon (if you’re based in North America) or Marcus (for the rest of the world)! We gladly support events for all of our games, so long as (a) you’ve got at least eight players and (b) you’re happy to send us photos that we can show off on social media! As well as prize support, social media coverage, and advertising on our dedicated event finder website, we can also provide advice and guidance to rookie and veteran tournament organisers alike, to help you put on the very best events possible for your players!

How can I find an event near me?

All Warlord Games-supported events are hosted at play.warlordgames.com, making it quick and easy to find upcoming events, wherever you are in the world! If you’re going to an event and it isn’t on there, ask the organiser to get in touch, sharpish!

A Bolt Action Grand Tournament in full swing.
Let’s roll some dice!

Stay tuned for plenty more events content throughout the year, with a trio of major Bolt Action tournaments (the World Team Championship, Grand Tournament, and World Open War) headlining the schedule, alongside hundreds more across the world. Good luck, have fun, one and all!

  1. Honestly, I absolutely love Warlord. The nicest people, some of the best games around, and your customer service is amazing. However, this is a huge let down for me. I’m not a tournament player by any stretch of the imagination. The super competitiveness of tournaments is off putting for me (to each their own and I fault no one for liking them!). Yet, since my friends and I all play Bolt Action casually, we are locked out of getting this amazing model that I know at least three of us would love to have since we don’t play tournaments. We’ll never see this model. One of us last year tried to obtain the Erwin König model via eBay and it wasn’t purchased by them because it was at ludicrous prices. With all that being said, I only ask that in the future, some of us non-tournament players would hopefully get an opportunity to enjoy these types of cool models ourselves. If not, we still love y’all anyway.

    1. Fully agree here, I have no qualms making it a tourney model for guys going events etc, but maybe make them sold seperate after a while?
Hell, make them a soldier of fortune if you want Warlord, because like has been said above thats two really nice models I cant get because I dont want to do tournament play.
