Spain have been crowned world champions at the Bolt Action World Team Championships for 2022.
Held over the weekend of May 14th and 15th, twelve four-player teams descended upon Cork, Ireland for a chance at the title. Though the competition was fierce and national pride was at stake, international rivalry paved the way for light-hearted banter to permeate the atmosphere of the tournament.
Congratulations to Spain, on retaining the title! The all-conquering players (from left to right); Antonio ‘Jano’ Corral, Fernando ‘Aquiles’ Moreno, Alister Cappel and Carlos Moros.
The final standings from this year’s event were as follows:
Spain – 18.5 points
Denmark 1 – 17.5 points
England – 14 points
Poland – 13.5 points
Wales – 13.5 points
Germany – 13 points
Scotland – 11.5 points
USA 1 – 11 points
USA 2 – 11 points
Denmark 2 – 10 points
World – 6.5 points
Ireland – 3.5 points
The World Team Championships have unfortunately not been able to run over the last two years due to the global pandemic. Spain retained the title they won in Poznan, Poland in 2019.
Can anyone stop Spain from completing a hat-trick in 2023?

Absolute Heros!!!!
I have to say thet I followed this event with much more interest than the Eurovision contest XD XD
Congratulations to the spanish Team, and hopefully Spain will host the next edition, in that case I hope I can visit it!
Answer to the question is:
No, unless people in UK and the rest of the world stop bringing to the tournament, crazy extreme list as opposed to the Spanish balanced ones.
They were so superior that in the team had a Sub-par country like China.
