With the arrival of the new British Commonwealth Automated Infantry models, we’ve updated the free PDF army list to incorporate both the new models and their new platoon. We’ve also taken the opportunity to release an updated FAQ, and make a few updates and corrections to some of the army lists, which we’ll continue to do to keep things flowing smoothly as Konflikt ’47 grows.
You can find the PDF army lists and updated FAQ HERE, and see a general changelog below:
General
Special Platoons are now limited to one of each type per force. Clarification has also been provided on how Special Platoons interact with force building in their respective Army Lists.
The Axis
Totenrotte Platoon
- Clarified that new Totenkorps units created by Nachtzehrer within a Totenrotte Platoon count as part of the Platoon for the purposes of its special rules.
Sd.Kfz. 501/1 Nachtzehrer
- Clarified how the Leichenernte Active Rift Enhancement works if there are multiple Nachtzehrer, including if they are on opposing forces.
The United States
Roberta ‘Einstein’ Wells (Scientific Advisor, 1945)
- Updated the Rift Research Active Rift Enhancement to be consistent with Roberta Wells (Firefly), in that Line of Sight is required.
M17 Tesla Cannon Team
- Added a Gun Shield option.
The British Commonwealth
New Unit Profiles
- B for Bertie
- Mk IIC Automated Director
New Special Platoon
- Automated Infantry Platoon
Rifle Squad
- Unit composition changed to allow a minimum sized unit to be transported in a Bren Carrier. Requisition Points updated accordingly.
Mk I Automated Infantry
- Updated the Active Rift Enhancement as follows:
High Voltage! When executing a Run Order, a Mk I Automated Infantry Squad may use this Active Rift Enhancement. The unit gains the Deadly (2) and Fast special rules (and loses Lumbering) for the duration of the Run Order. Exhaust the unit’s Rift Die after resolving the Run Order. Note that if locked in Close Quarters, the Rift Die will exhaust after the second round of Close Quarters is resolved.
- Added a Close Combat Blades option to MMGs, conferring +1 Pen at Close Quarters and the Tough Fighters special rule
Page 14 – Mk II Heavy Automated Infantry
- Added the Data Transmission special rule, which negates the First Off the Line special rule for friendly units within 6” if both units have at least an Active Rift Die. This effectively does not change the way the units work, but neatens how the information is presented, in that the relevant wording has been removed from all Active Rift Enhancements of First Off the Line units
- Added a Close Combat Blades option to Light Automatic Cannons, conferring +1 Pen at Close Quarters and the Tough Fighters special rule
- Added M21 Light Tesla Cannon Option, and increased limit of Heavy Automatic Cannon to 2 per squad
Page 18 – Automated Mobile Platform ‘Lancer’
- Updated the Active Rift Enhancement as follows:
Storm of Lead When executing a Fire Order, a Lancer may increase the Shots value of each of its HMGs by +1. Exhaust the Lancer’s Rift Die after resolving the Fire Order.
Page 20 – Automated Mobile Platform ‘Hunter’
- Updated the Active Rift Enhancement as follows:
High Velocity Round When executing a Fire Order, a Hunter may fire its Light Anti-tank Gun as if it were a Medium Anti-tank Gun. Exhaust the Hunter’s Rift Die after resolving the Fire Order.
Automated Mobile Platform ‘Bombardier’
- Updated the Active Rift Enhancement as follows:
Corrosive Shell When executing a Fire Order, a Bombardier may use this Enhancement to have its Light Howitzer gain the Rift Weapon and Corrosive (D3) special rules for this attack. Exhaust the Bombardier’s Rift Die before any to hit rolls are made, as normal for Rift Weapons.
M17 Tesla Cannon Team
- Added a Gun Shield option.
Automated Carrier
- Updated the Active Rift Enhancement as follows:
Firing Solution When executing a Fire or Advance Order, the Automated Carrier can gain a +1 modifier to its ‘to hit’ rolls. If it does, exhaust the Automated Carrier’s Rift Die after resolving the Order.
There’s a lot of cool new toys for the British Commonwealth in this update, but there are also some nice little tweaks across the wider game – we’ll keep doing this periodically, to ensure that as Konflikt ’47 grows and develops, and the unit rosters expand, the game stays reasonably balanced and above all FUN. Ready to dive into the Rift War?
