Ever had one of those days where everything seems to go wrong before you’ve even had your first cup of coffee? This guy has! Meet Unteroffizier Kaffeekanne, our Soldier of Fortune figure for January 2024, who’s having a really bad day, having just spotted the entire Allied fleet off the beaches of Normandy on the morning of June 6th, 1944.

Mounted on his faithful steed, and with his rifle slung (he’s on invasion watch, after all!), the slightly rotund Kaffeekanne is out on the morning coffee run for his comrades, and has had the misfortune to end up under the guns of the Allies! If you’ve seen The Longest Day (and if you haven’t, go watch it right now!), you’ll know exactly how unlucky this chap is, but we reckon he’ll have more luck on the Bolt Action tabletop, where he’ll make for a great mounted officer, addition to your cavalry squad, or (for the more competitive types) perhaps even part of a horse or mule towing team!

Packed with detail, this fantastic Soldier of Fortune figure is a must-have for collectors, painters, and gamers alike, but remember – he’s only available during the month of January 2024, after which he’ll disappear (presumably into a very, very deep foxhole!), not to be seen again for several years!

Each month, a different, unique special figure is available to purchase exclusively through The Warlord Games Webstore, for that month only. At the end of the month, a new special figure takes its place. Once gone, those figures will be unavailable for a minimum of two years thereafter, by any means.

Numbered sequentially, it’s easy to keep track of your whole collection of these Warlord Webstore-exclusive figures. Remember that each figure will only be around for a month; don’t miss out on getting hold of the complete collection of Soldiers of Fortune!

  1. Why not create some additional rules for those special figures?
Out of competive gaming this would be a nice thing…or even within? (When activated, coffee for you and your teammates, The opposing team doesn’t get any coffee until the end of the round)
