Operation Overlord

This event will fight the opening hours of D-Day across simultaneous engagements with your success or failure in the morning shaping the afternoon’s battle as Allied forces push inland toward Caen.
Designed as a fun narrative event, while maintaining the ability to be open to whatever forces you happen to bring, it will feature custom terrain, including a table representing Juno Beach and the attack on “Canada House”. It is not designed as a balanced, tournament style competition, but instead a casual asymmetric experience that will hopefully deliver narrative flavour and cinematic moments across two rounds.
The idea is to have fun, raise some money for charity, play on awesome boards, grow our club and not sweat the small stuff.
