Fighisto Brenthonne

The Fighisto Brenthonne Bolt Action tournament is part of the club’s annual tournament day, a much-anticipated event held every year in the run-up to the summer. It is a two-day wargaming celebration featuring multiple competitions, with Bolt Action standing out as one of the flagship and most popular events of the weekend. It draws both local club members and players travelling from other regions of France as well as neighbouring Switzerland, making it a lively and diverse gathering of wargaming enthusiasts.

What makes this event particularly special is its commitment to sportsmanship, love for historical accuracy and references, friendly competition, and, above all, the promotion of wargaming among younger generations. This year, four of the participants will be teenagers, reflecting the club’s ongoing efforts to welcome and nurture new players into the hobby. Every year the club promote wargames and Bolt Action in local high school and historical events and more and more young players, boys and girls, come to join the club. The gaming tables are lovingly crafted and prepared throughout the year by club members, ensuring a visually impressive and immersive experience for all attendees. It is a warm, welcoming event where the spirit of the game always comes first.
