This is a Charity Doubles Event, with proceeds going to Diabetes UK. Tickets are available with equal numbers of Axis and Allies to avoid blue on blue match-ups. The event is aimed for players of all abilities including those new to the game. As such there is no requirement for fully painted armies, although encouraged and is a requirement for Best Painted award! Players shall bring a single company to a maximum of 600 points and a dice cap of 10 order-dice.
On the day, players will be matched by the TO with a random partner to form a team. This team shall then play 3 games generally based upon those found in Main Rulebook. Tables shall be prepared in advance and will be balanced, tournament suitable and aesthetically appropriate for WW2 battles. Awards shall be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams plus awards for Best Painted/Themed and most important, Best Sportsman.
