Valleycon 2026

Valleycon is the Hutt Valley Miniatures wargaming club’s annual event that attracts around 200 passionate wargamers, we get players for all over the county attending this event which includes Bolt action for the 5th time among other game systems as well. This event happens every year around the same time of year although a month later this year due to Hall availability.
Valleycon is although a competitive event is also a fun and friendly event. Every year for Bolt action at Valleycon has had a theme.
*Several years ago, every force must have had a medic with side missions to suit.
*Two years ago, everyone had to have a sniper and there was a points tally for kills.
*Last year was bolt action bingo, complete things during the game for spot prizes.
*This year everyone must have a company commander, points on offer if you kill the opponents C.O.

General outline of the lists for the event this year
Lists must not exceed 1150pts.
Every list must include a Company commander squad separate from your platoon command squad.
(Hauptmann, Major, General, Colonel, etc)
Max of 18 order dice.
Win – 6pts, Draw – 3pts, Loss – 1pt.
Each game if you manage to kill your opponent’s Company Commander model you will score 1 point to be added to your
total tournament score. So there is the potential for a 7 point win 4 point draw or 2 point loss.
Your Company commander must always be on table and cannot be in reserve.
