Small Unit Tactics III

Small Unit Tactics III will be held at The House of war on Saturday 21 September 2024. We’ll be playing three rounds of Bolt Action in an event for both experienced and beginner players alike, where the winner will be decided by Tournament Points. Any ties will be separated by Strength of Schedule. This is an opportunity to say farewell to Bolt Action Version 2, before the release of Version 3 in late September 2024. As a result, we are loosening the list building requirements and opening up the field to a variety of lists out of the many supplements Warlord has released for Bolt Action across the journey. This is an opportunity to have one final go with your favourite lists in V2 before the next version comes along!

Players will assemble 950-point forces and can come from Reinforced Platoons or Theatre Selectors, while remaining a single platoon. Efforts will be made to keep historical matchups between Allied and Axis players where possible, but if the difference in tournament points is too high or we have more players of one side than the other then we’ll revert to Swiss-chess pairings.
