Following the success of last year’s Operation No Safe Waters, the battle has
moved ashore. The fleets have withdrawn, but the war is far from over.
Operation No Safe Ground places players in the midst of a brutal land campaign
where every hill, village, crossroads, and ruined city block has become contested
ground. The enemy is battered but unbroken, entrenched behind fortifications and
determined to hold every inch of territory. Players will command infantry, armor,
artillery, and support elements as they fight through a series of challenging
scenarios designed to capture the chaos and intensity of World War II ground
combat.
This year’s event is a Bolt Action tournament held at Nashcon in Nashville,
Tennessee, bringing together players from across the region and beyond for a
full day of competitive gaming, camaraderie, and historical wargaming. The event
features custom missions, thematic objectives, and a narrative-driven atmosphere
that immerses participants in the struggle for control of a war-torn battlefield.
Theme Narrative
After the chaos of Operation No Safe Waters, the war has shifted inland. The
enemy, battered but unbroken, has dug in across the countryside, fortifying
villages, crossroads, and ruins. There are no harbors to secure and no fleets to
sink. Now every hilltop, farmfield, and city street is a battlefield. Artillery shatters
the silence. Tanks grind forward across scarred earth. Infantry advance under fire,
step by bloody step. There are no safe harbors, no safe waters, and now… NO
SAFE GROUND.
