Operation: Husky

Operation: Husky is the Australian Armour and Artillery Museum’s 2023 Annual Historically Themed event. This year’s event is orientated around the Allied lands on Sicily. During the landings the US 7th Army, and the Commonwealth 8th Army, along with strong airborne contingents launched what was the first strike back at the Axis, with the intention of striking up the “Soft Underbelly of Europe”. Facing off against an under equipped yet substantial Italian garrison and a smaller yet very strong German presence.
