Operation: First Blush (Bolt Action V3)

Operation: First Blush is a beginner-friendly Bolt Action V3 tournament designed to help players take their first steps into competitive play in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Hosted at Diceheads in Gosport, this event focuses on teaching core tournament skills such as time management, list building, mission play, and good sportsmanship, while still delivering a fun and engaging day of gaming.

Players will bring 1250-point armies using the Reinforced Platoon format and take part in three rounds using missions from the Bolt Action V3 rulebook. The emphasis is on learning and enjoyment rather than hard competition, making it ideal for newer players or those returning to the hobby. Fully themed tables and supportive opponents will help create an immersive and friendly atmosphere throughout the day.

The goal of Operation: First Blush is to build confidence within the local community and encourage more players to attend future events. With support from Diceheads and Warlord Games, we aim to grow the player base and create a regular, welcoming tournament scene in the Gosport area.
