Newcomer Cup

The Idea of this Tournament is to give beginners and returner a low level obstacle to find they way to tournament games. Especially in Germany with the new german rulebook. We have learned a lot of player are holding they armies on stand by for this translation!
With the restrictions of 1000 Points/12 Order Dice, because everyone is having 12 OD, but not everyone own more, and a maximum of 1 Rifle platoon respectively 1 Platoon of each kind, it will be easy for every player to bring an army on the table. A maximum of 3 vehicles in the armoured platoon prohibit a tank rush. We are playing on 48″ x 48″ tables. This shortened the time of playing. Because beginner´s always need more time, as we learned. And you have a need for action on smaller tables. It works pretty well in a handful of testgames.
That´s the concept behind the tournament. And at the End, we all have a great time with our favourite tabletop game and a bigger foundation for the communitiy.
