Konflikt’47 Various Skill Level Narrative Games at SAND WARS 2026

Sand Wars is back for 2026, and this year we are proud to be partnering with Warlord again after
a brief absence. Bring our two most popular games in the American Southwest with us, we will be taking
south Phoenix by storm, or sturm if you will. Reaching out across the Southwest, HMGS-PSW will be
bringing together 15 to 25 players per day from around the region. We hope that this will encourage new
friendships and ideas to take home with you. And if this is not enough, you can join us in October for our
annual monstrous event at the Las Vegas Open. Players are encouraged to bring their own painted
models, and we will have extras you can borrow to help fill in the armies first come first served.
But wait… there is more. Between the shadows of Area 51, Alamogordo, and Fort Huchuka the
updated version of Konflikt’47 brings to life all of the “What Ifs” from the region that could have
happened during World War 2. This is more than just one of the hottest wargames in the United States at
the moment. Players can join us for a variety of events on Saturday afternoon, and Sunday morning,
again meeting players from around the Southwest to connect with, and get new ideas. Saturday will
feature the Narrative Missions from the core rulebook, along with a Demo Table for people wanting their
first taste of this exciting game. Sunday beyond the Demo Table, players can launch into the Story
Missions from the hot new Festung Europa Rift War Book. Expect an amazing afternoon and/or evening
weathering the sturm.
