Dice of Iron

This inaugural Bolt Action event is to the tournament organiser’s best knowledge, the only Bolt Action event in West Wales. The event is aimed for players of all abilities including inexperienced and veteran players. As the event is open to beginners, there is no requirement for fully painted armies, although this is encouraged and is a requirement for the Best Painted Award. Equal numbers of Axis and Allies tickets are available to avoid blue on blue match-ups. Players will need to bring a single company to a maximum of 600 points and a dice cap of 10 order dice. Armoured platoons, whilst permitted, shall be limited to a maximum of 2 vehicles.

Players shall play 4 games of Bolt Action based generally upon missions found within the Main Rulebook. Tables shall be prepared in advance and will be balanced and aesthetically appropriate for WW2 battles. Due to reduced army size, games shall be played on 4’ x 4’ tables. Awards shall be presented to Best Painted, Best Axis General, Best Allied General and most importantly, Best Sportsman – as voted by the players on the day. This event shall use Bolt Action 3rd edition rules including latest Errata/FAQ.
