You will find Warlord Games in the gaming tent along with loads of participation games covering all of history!
Experience 2,000 years of history in one weekend at our flagship event this July.
Ever wanted to find yourself in the middle of a live-action historical blockbuster? This summer, you’ll get your chance as over 2,000 re-enactors and performers bring the story of England to life over one action-packed weekend.
With thrilling battles, spectacular displays, living encampments from Roman times to the Second World War, silly jesters, gladiators and jousting, there’s non-stop entertainment throughout the weekend.
Kids will enjoy all the fun of the Victorian Fair, plus cave painting, the chance to become a knight, and even a ride in our hobby horse joust.
With live music, food stalls, a real ale bar and an historic market, there’s a festival atmosphere at History Live! for everyone to enjoy.
