Operation Crucible: The 2 nd Pour

Hello everyone and welcome to Operation Crucible. Im putting my hat in the ring and running my first
tournament! I really wanted to bring a competitive scene to South Australia as we’ve had so many
wonderful previous beginner and themed events brought to us by the foundational Operation Shrike
series with Group North having also hosted a number of events so far. Operation Crucible hopes to bring
a real test of players skills in both list building and execution on the table, a test of players resilience and
heart. THIS WILL BE A COMPETETIVE EVENT.

To my fellow wargamers, companions in this wonderful hobby we share, welcome to Operation Crucible
– The Second Pour. Operation Crucible is a competitive Bolt Action tournament where skill, strategy and
resilience are forged under pressure. This is a serious competitive event designed for players who thrive
on high-stakes gameplay, precise decision-making and the pursuit of excellence.
As I stated in my intro we’ve had a lot of good introductory games and themed events but as for normal,
solid competitive Bolt Action tournaments we’ve had about 1 or 2. Im hoping this tournament could
become the best competitive scene in South Australia (big dreams I know). I would love to start doing 4
a year and move from club to club to spread the good word of Bolt Action. I have build good
relationships with a few Club presidents and members and could do 2 North (Garrison Wargaming Club
& Group North Wargaming Club) and 2 South (Chaotic Kraken & Dragons Lair) a year. Im still completely
new to this, but extremely positive and keen to try at least. Thanks for taking the time to consider my
