Operation Market Garden

2 Day event Friday the 2nd and Saturday the 3rd October,
Our Ever popular Big games run by the local Bolt Action Club is re-enacting Operation Market Garden, the Allied supreme leader Neil has taken on the challenge of rewriting history into a Bolt Action Scenario with the initial plan of 26 players. Historically this was the largest operation with use of Airdropped forces to secure bridges also combined with a bold plan to move an armoured column at speed to relive the Airborne forces quickly to out flank the Germans and end the war by Christmas.
Everyone will have a place around the table and a goal to work together with other players on their team to achieve the mission across a larger than normal table.
With 4 sectors of players trying to achieve their part to help their team as a whole, each sector will have their own objectives holding bridges, blowing up bridges, linking up with XXX Corps, Surviving. will there be individual witness me glory moments with medals or team work and brutal efficiency. As always we are happy to talk to anyone who wants to turn up and look, get involved, talk about painting, game and real tactics.
