1. Army lists are due via email on August 27th by midnight.
2. Restrictions:
– No more than 2 of any unit army wide (no spamming!)
Player Code of Conduct:
1. Be respectful of your opponent. While light-hearted banter between players is part of the overall experience of table top wargaming, being rude or deliberately unkind is not. Please avoid the following:
– Verbally attacking another player’s choice of faction or list. We all enjoy this game in different ways, and no one should be made to feel bad about what they want to play.
– Verbally attacking another player. Again, light-hearted banter is expected and appreciated but outright attacks are not cool. Use common sense here. If you are unable to do so, you will be warned by the staff at Narthex Wargaming.
– Control your temper. Tantrums will not be tolerated. Always remember that this is still only a game.
2. Cheating. Another bit of common sense. Don’t do it. If you are caught cheating, you will be removed from the tournament and it is unlikely that you will be allowed to participate in future events. A few tips:
– Always be ready and willing to share your rules with your opponent.
– Always roll your dice somewhere your opponent can see them and do not pick them up until your opponent sees your rolls.
– Learn your army rules backwards and forwards. Ignorance is not an excuse.
– If your opponent calls you on a rules error, you may politely ask them to show you the correct rule in the books, pdfs, or apps.
3. Disagreements and Rules Lawyering. Please keep both of these to an absolute minimum as both can slow down the game and ruin the experience for both players. If players cannot come to an agreement about an issue that comes up in game, either roll off or decide the outcome on a single d6 roll of a 4+.
The other solution is to ask the TO or a judge to make a ruling for you. However, if you do this, the ruling by the TO or judge is final.
