RoGCoN

Delivered by Realm of Gaming Inc., a local not-for-profit club, RoGCoN is a community-focused tabletop
gaming convention hosted at the Burnie Arts Centre. Designed to create a vibrant, inclusive space for
youth, families, and diverse community members across North-West Tasmania, the event
accommodates all ages and experience levels. The convention will feature structured tournaments for
Warhammer 40,000, Bolt Action and possibly more games, and popular trading card games, alongside
dedicated roleplaying zones, a second-hand community trading stall, and casual board game spaces that
foster genuine social connection and promote positive mental wellbeing.
RoGCoN actively champions local economic participation and regional pride by integrating specialty
commercial vendors and local food vans into the event footprint. By drawing hobbyists, competitors,
and families to Burnie, the convention enriches the region’s cultural calendar, drives weekend visitation,
and builds long-term community value. The ultimate goal of Realm of Gaming Inc. is to establish
RoGCoN as a landmark, self-sustaining annual fixture for the North-West Tasmanian community.
