Group North Command: World at War

Group North Command: World at War is the Group North Wargaming Club’s (Formerly Group North Historical Wargames Society) inaugural event for Bolt Action 3rd Edition! Bolt Action has long been played at our humble gaming club since 1st edition and now 3rd edition has seen a strong revitalisation of the game in our community and is helping to continue to grow support for this great game in Adelaide and Australia as a whole. Group North is the 2nd oldest continuously running gaming club in the world! As such it is the longest running club in the whole of Australia, it is also one the the largest communities of tabletop games in the land down under and easily the largest in South Australia! This event is an opportunity for all competitive and new bolt action players alike to come into our recently renovated and upgraded hall and join in the fun of playing one of the best tabletop games out there!
This will be a 1250 point event with a 18 dice cap with 3 games to be played throughout the course of the day, Group North Wargaming club has a large hall to utilise and can easily fit in excess of 30 full tables in the hall as well as being stocked with a very cold fridge full of refreshing drinks (important for the warm january days in Adelaide) and also facilities to provide hot food and snacks for the players in between the intense bouts and duels on the tabletop! There will also be a large selection of excellent terrain to play over as Adelaide has a very vibrant and supportive community with many club members, the club itself and other players happy to lend and use their terrain to ensure that everyone can have a truly fun and immersive experience on the day! With the support of many sponsors and volunteers the event is looking to be a very exciting and awesome day to be had!!
