1 ère Convention Bolt Action France

The 1 ère Bolt Action convention aims to promote Bolt Action gaming. It is organized by the "Warames
et Figurines" association, the "Bolt Action France" Discord server (365 members) and the "Wargame
Miniature Tuto" channel (3,200 subscribers).
The event is aimed at 3 types of visitors:
 Grognards who already play the game and want to meet other players in a friendly
atmosphere
 Newbies who are new to this world and want to learn about the rules, meet the experts and
get started on specially dedicated tables.
 The curious, history or model-making enthusiasts, wargame fans, children and those with a
childlike spirit.
We will be proposing :
 9 gaming tables (depending on participants) for 2-hour games throughout the day
 1 introductory "maginot line" table 120×120 tables with elaborate scenarios for beginners.
 1 painting competition on the theme of "vehicles & armoured vehicles" with prizes for the
top 3 artists
 1 figurine assembly workshop where visitors can assemble a figurine and leave with it free of
charge (depending on the prize).
 1 exchange zone where players can exchange miniatures
 1 store area dedicated to the Bolt Action universe
 1 catering area
The event will not be organized as a classic tournament, but rather as a friendly get-together of
players and enthusiasts, with more of a "club meeting" spirit than a competitive one.

Admission will be free for visitors, and a small contribution will be requested from players to secure
their participation. A badge will be available for Bolt Action France members, allowing them to put a
face behind a nickname.
The event will be followed and animated by the YouTube channel Wargame Miniature Tuto, which
will produce a promo video, a review video and potentially a live broadcast of gaming tables
throughout the day. Posts will be made on the BOLT ACTION and BOLT ACTION.FR facebook pages +
various groups dedicated to wargames and miniatures.
