SUMMARY:2nd Annual Holy Roller Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The Holy Roller is a Southern Ontario Bolt Action Circuit (SOBA) PREMIUM EVENT. It is named after our local Sherman III\, one of only 2 Canadian Tanks to land on D-Day and survive to the end of the war. It is the only London event during the SOBA season and we are pulling out all the stops. Not a SOBA Member? No problem\, everyone is welcome. 1250 point lists. Players will compete in 3 games over the course of the day to see who will be crowned the Holy Roller. Think you’ve got what it takes? This tournament is the place to prove it. In addition to prize support from Warlord Games\, we have some local establishments with ties to the Holy Roller also donating prizes. The day will culminate with a post-tournament gathering for all who wish to attend at Toboggan Brewing Co. where they have graciously offered a discount to tournament players.

SUMMARY:D-Day Overlord Memorial 2026
DESCRIPTION:This is a non-competitive event that will be held at the Torre Nera Club in Forlì on June 6-7\, 2025. Players will find themselves fighting some of the main battles of D-Day and the following days\, following the chronological progression of events. The first day will be dedicated to the landings of American\, British and Canadian troops and to the sabotage actions of the partisans and English and American paratroopers. The second day of Battles will be dedicated to inland operations\, urban and tank battles\, and we will have a table dedicated to a very particular mission\, designed for the event where the special forces and ground troops will have to take possession of an important port in German hands\, sink a submarine in the dock and sabotage a railway line. We will use historically accurate lists using the V2 campaign books as references but with the V3 army selection method. A perfect event to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the D-Day campaign!

DESCRIPTION:“Our Bolt Action Summer Offensive will be a fun\, hobby-first three round event. Players will create an 800 point army (15 order dice max) following the normal platoon building process. No FAO’s (Artillery or Air) or weapons with greater than a 2″ template are allowed. Vehicle armor is limited to 8+ on any facing. Bring something fun or cool in your list or something you don’t normally get to play with. Avoid min-maxing as there are plenty of other events where you can do that. \nPlayers will be challenged by specially designed missions for the event where total VP’s scored across each of the three missions will be used to determine player rankings so it is not only important to win but also to secure as many VP’s as possible with that win. Awards will be given for Best Overall\, Best Axis\, Best Allied and Wooden Spoon which will be based solely on VP’s. Best Looking army will also receive an award.”
