Each month we add\n250pts of new units to our forces and play 2 games with the missions that go out at the start of the\nmonth. At the end of the league we will have a big game with all the players from across central\nIndiana that can make it followed by the awards ceremony.

SUMMARY:Hull & East Riding Wargames Club - Bolt Action Competition
DESCRIPTION:The Hull & East Riding Wargames Club is the new name for what used to be North Hull Wargames Club. The club came into being in the 1960’s with famous members including Peter Gilder\, Duncan MacFarlane and Harry Harrison. Since that time the club has developed with the times including many other well known people in our hobby.\nIn 2021 we moved locations to the current residence at Garden Village Community Centre in Hull\, meeting every Saturday between 12pm to 6pm. \nThis is the first Bolt Action organised competition at the club. After a lot of interest in Bolt Action by members it was suggested to create a fun competitive competition. Eighteen members have put their name forward to play.\nThe competition will be organised in the following way. Two leagues of nine people\, each player in their league will play an opponent once\, (8 games). The person at the top of the league after all games have been played will play the other league’s winner in a final game to see who is champion. As well as prizes provided by Warlord Games\, a trophy will be purchased. This will encourage the club to hold the event at least on an annual basis. \nWe choose Bolt Action 3 for its fantastic game play\, realistic Second World War details\, and flexibility. A number of new members have recently purchased the Bolt Action 3 rule book as well as figures to get ready for the game. With Warlord Games generous prize offer\, the competition will undoubtedly be a success. Any interest from non members are welcome to visit and join in from 12pm to 6pm every Saturday. The tournament is held according to the rules of Bolt Action 3rd Edition and the latest FAQ\nParticipants prepare their lists according to the requirements\nPoint limit per player: 900 points\nLimit of 10 command dice per player\nAll rulebooks and army lists published by Warlord Games are permitted for creating army lists\nRestrictions on creating army lists (roster):\nRestrictions on creating army lists (roster):\nMaximum of 3 infantry platoons\nMaximum of 1 additional platoon of each type (artillery\,\narmoured\, etc.) IMPORTANT – a pair of players cannot have more than\none armoured platoon and one artillery platoon\nMaximum of 1 artillery/air observer per pair\nMulf-luncher weapons (Katyusha\,\nNebelwerffer\, etc.) are not allowed in the roster \nIn the case of two of the same nations in a pair\, the players’ units do not\ngive bonuses/modifiers to each other. \nDesigned to be a fun\, yet competitive event we expect all games to be played with the fair\, sporting attitudes and especially connecting locally group for BA v3.

SUMMARY:New Year Blitz 1\,000 Pts Bolt Action Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The importance of this event\nis that we are significantly increasing the points\, leaning towards larger games of Bolt Action instead of\nthe previous more ‘patrol’ type matches. We have finally reached the ‘proper’ points level of Bolt Action so\nto speak and I cannot wait!\nThis gives players a chance to field more of their Bolt Action collections on the tabletop. It has been\nhighly requested to have a 1\,000 pts tournament by many players as they wish to field their multi-platoon\nlists. This also shows how the local community is engaged with these events.\nI will be utilizing my 3d printer to create some unique objective markers for the tournament to help\nattendees to feel immersed! Also\, this will be another tournament where the local trophy cup\, The Golden\nTiger\, will be up for grabs to have another person fight for a nameplate!
