DESCRIPTION:The Guns of Broomloan is the debut Bolt Action Tournament at the ACVC Hub and we are delighted to be hosting the event as a part of the Scottish Championship. All funds raised will be used to support the amazing work the Hub does with Glasgows veterans.\nWe want this to be an event where players can bring out the big guns and have to make some difficult decisions with their lists\, so we have decided on a double or single generic platoon 1500 points 15 order dice format. We want players to have to think about what fun toys they can spend all these points on\, rather than how to squeeze some extra order dice in! The event is open to both new and experienced players and in particular we intend to offer a Best Newcomer prize for the highest placing rookie. SUMMARY:Dogged Defence
DESCRIPTION:Building on the success of my first event in February I am presenting Dogged Defence\, a three round tournament using standard single platoon lists at 1250 points.  The one change I am introducing for this event is the mandatory inclusion of a medium tank\, or 9+ damage vehicle\, that can be added outside of the single tank slot in the reinforced platoon.  The Bolt Action scene throughout Southern Ontario is not only growing but coming together.  At Dogged Defence on May 5th I hope to continue to bring in players from all over Ontario\, further forging the overall scene and  growing the pool of competition. \nNew AV production equipment is being rolled out for this event to record a minimum of two matches which will be posted to my YouTube channel.  New terrain tables are also being added to continue the quality our events are known for.  The location is spacious and I will continue to hold events at the Rundle Park Community Centre as it is private and closed to our event .  The goal is to establish these events as the premiere location that everyone will mark on their calendars throughout the year.

DESCRIPTION:Finally the doors will to Alphaspel will open to another amazing Bolt Action event! It’s been almost a year since the last time and we are happy to announce that the interest in “Objective Alpha” has been through the roof! We have increased the number of tables to accommodate all but there is still a waiting list. Which we think you should register for by the way! You never know\, things happen and there might be an open spot or two on short notice.  \nThe boards will be fantastic as we have some of Sweden’s finest terrain builders contributing with several tables – in fact ALL of the tables will be created by dedicated hobbyists. No scraped together piles of flock – quality battlefields on all 11 tables! If you are missing the event you will definitely be seeing a lot of it in the usual social media channels. \nTwo games of 1000 point generic forced platoons will be played. 3 hours for each game which should be plenty of time. During the lunch break you can get your meal at Alphaspel’s excellent restaurant. Coffee and other types of energy will be close by.  \nWe have a lot of prize support for this event and our goal is not only great prizes for the winners\, every player will have some kind of memorable mini to bring home! A prize for Best painted force will be awarded too of course. \nEven if you are not playing or maybe you are just interested in the game we would love to see you at Alphaspel on April 21st. DESCRIPTION:This event is a single day Bolt Action Tournament. Consisting of 3 games. 2 hours each.  Armies will be 1000pts\, consisting of one Single Reinforced Platoon. No dice limit. No Theater Selectors allowed. No Armored Platoons. Each platoon will follow all the normal restrictions. Theatre selector units that are explicitly allowed for the Generic Reinforced Platoon are permitted. This tournament will follow a new scoring format as a test to prepare for a Maryland State Bolt Action Championship. The intent is that even Rookie Players have a chance to earn points and stay competitive against Veteran Players. Points will assesed for Game Results\, Painting\, Sportsmanship and Early List Submission.  Prizes will be provided for Best Overall General\, Best Axis\, Best Allied\, Best Painted\, Best Sportsman\, and Day went FUBAR.

DESCRIPTION:The 1 ère Bolt Action convention aims to promote Bolt Action gaming. It is organized by the "Warames\net Figurines" association\, the "Bolt Action France" Discord server (365 members) and the "Wargame\nMiniature Tuto" channel (3\,200 subscribers).\nThe event is aimed at 3 types of visitors:\n Grognards who already play the game and want to meet other players in a friendly\natmosphere\n Newbies who are new to this world and want to learn about the rules\, meet the experts and\nget started on specially dedicated tables.\n The curious\, history or model-making enthusiasts\, wargame fans\, children and those with a\nchildlike spirit.\nWe will be proposing :\n 9 gaming tables (depending on participants) for 2-hour games throughout the day\n 1 introductory "maginot line" table 120×120 tables with elaborate scenarios for beginners.\n 1 painting competition on the theme of "vehicles & armoured vehicles" with prizes for the\ntop 3 artists\n 1 figurine assembly workshop where visitors can assemble a figurine and leave with it free of\ncharge (depending on the prize).\n 1 exchange zone where players can exchange miniatures\n 1 store area dedicated to the Bolt Action universe\n 1 catering area\nThe event will not be organized as a classic tournament\, but rather as a friendly get-together of\nplayers and enthusiasts\, with more of a "club meeting" spirit than a competitive one. \nAdmission will be free for visitors\, and a small contribution will be requested from players to secure\ntheir participation. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Operation Whiskey Trail II\, a two-day Bolt-Action Tournament held at the Seaforth Club\, Elgin\, Scotland. Hosted this year by Andy Moore (Terry wants to play this year!😉) This tournament will entail a ‘Singles Saturday’ comprising 4 games (Yes\, you read that correctly\, 4 games!!!) and ‘Sunday-Funday Doubles’ comprising 2 games\, with the results from the Saturday event eligible for Scottish Tournament Championship points. Bolt Action Scotland encourage players of all calibre to their events\, with a seasoned core of knowledgeable gamers who will assist those taking their first foray into playing multiple game events. The tournament will take place between Sat 20 and Sun 21 Apr 2024\, with spaces for 40 players. There will be options for people to attend the whole weekend\, Sat Only or Sun Only\, to cater for availability and flexibility of those wishing to partake in the fun-that-is Bolt Action in Scotland!.\nPlus\, there’s no need to go hunting for that elusive doubles partner!!\, we’ve done the hard work for you!! SUMMARY:Small Unit Tactics
DESCRIPTION:Small Unit Tactics is a one-day Bolt Action Tournament that will be hosted at The House of War in Ringwood\, Melbourne and is aimed at beginner and experienced players alike. Players will play three rounds of two hours and 10 minutes for tournament points\, the player with the most tournament points will be crowned the winner!\nPlayers will assemble 1\,038-point forces using generic reinforced platoon rules with no armoured platoons permitted. There are a number of other restrictions/tweaks for list building for this event which can be found in full in the player pack\, for example – LMGs for this event will cost only 10 points not 20.\nThis is a great opportunity to get involved in an emerging Bolt Action community\, particularly for new players. New players will be matched up with those of a similar skill level and efforts will also be made to keep historical matchups between Allied and Axis players where possible.

SUMMARY:D-Day Experience
DESCRIPTION:El D-Day experience es un evento narrativo de 3 días de duración que se celebrará junto con muchas otras actividades dentro de la FRAC (Fira de Rol d’Arreu de Catalunya). El evento permitirá a los jugadores reproducir sobre una mesa de juego con el reglamento y las miniaturas de Bolt Action V.2 y sus suplementos D-Day: Overlord y Battleground Europe\, algunos de los momentos decisivos del mayor desembarco anfibio de la historia. Consta de 14 partidas repartidas a lo largo de los 3 días\, que se jugarán de forma secuencial y simultanea en algunos casos\, reproduciendo las operaciones que tuvieron lugar durante lo primeros días del desembarco.\nLas partidas se han seleccionado y secuenciado de forma que se reproduzcan las operaciones tal como acontecieron en Junio de 1944. El Viernes 12 por la tarde-noche se jugarán las misiones nocturnas relacionadas con el asalto paracaidista sobre Sainte Mère Eglise y su aledaños por tal de asegurar puntos cruciales para el desembarco al día siguiente\, incluido el famosos incidente del paracaidista Jhone Steele tras quedar atrapado su paracaídas en la Iglesia del pueblo. El Sábado 13 se jugarán las misiones relacionadas con la llegada de la flota y el desembarco en UTAH BEACH propiamente\, así como las operaciones de las unidades paracaidistas destinadas a apoyar la operación\, como la famosa toma de la batería de Bercout Mannor por parte de la Easy Company. El tercer día se jugarán finalmente las misiones centradas en la consolidación de la cabeza de playa (Carentan\, La Fiere bridge) pero también incluirá sorpresas\, ya que las misiones que se jugarán y sus condiciones dependerán de los resultados obtenidos en el conjunto de todas las partidas anteriores\, incluyendo la opción “What if” de que el eje hubiera sido capaz de detener a los aliados en la costa.\nSi eso no fuese suficiente\, todas las partidas se jugaran sobre una única mesa de juego de mas de 20m2\, reproduciendo lo mejor posible las localizaciones históricas de UTAH beach\, Sainte Mère Eglise\, Carentan\, la carretera RN13 y sus alrededores.
