DESCRIPTION:Reed Conference Center\, Oklahoma City\, Oklahoma 17 – 18 June 2016\nThe Warlord Open Games Day is a showcase for all of the tabletop miniature wargames that come out of Warlord Games HQ in Nottingham England\, from Bolt Action to Hail Caesar\, and even the new games such as Project Z and Konflikt ’47. \nThe Warlord Open Games Day kicks at off 5 p.m. on Friday\, 17 June at the 45th Infantry Division Museum. The museum will be open to Games Day attendees only\, allowing them to view weapons\, uniforms\, vehicles and other unit memorabilia as well as see what the 45th has accomplished while in service to our nation over the past century. The museum will have representatives on hand to answer any questions about the 45th that attendees might have. \nAfter the museum tour we will all head over the Reed Center in Mid West City where registration will open at 7 p.m. so attendees can check in. The first round of the tournaments will begin at 7:30 p.m. and at 8 p.m. the beginner demo tables will start running\, all to be concluded by 10 p.m. \nThe hall reopens at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday\, 18 June\, with all the vendors in place and all demo tables ready to go. We will also start round two of the tournaments. Round three of the tournaments will start at 1:30 p.m.\, after lunch\, and conclude with plenty of time for the tournament players to be able to give the demo tables a try including Mary Profitt and her husband Rickey Morang on hand to show you some painting ideas\, as well as lighting models with fiber optics and using LEDs …AWESOME HUH…The hall will stay open until 11:30 p.m. so everyone will get plenty of gaming time. \n \nHAVE A GO TABLES\nAll the miniatures are provided\, along with terrain\, and we have table bosses that will be happy to introduce you to whichever games you want to try. And you can try as many as you like! \nThe game tables will have varying levels of play\, from beginner to advanced\, for Hail Caesar\, Pike and Shotte\, Black Powder\, Bolt Action\, and Beyond the Gates of Antares. Additionally\, there will be tables for Judge Dredd\, Terminator: Genisys\, Project Z and Konflikt ’47. \nNo previous knowledge of the rules is needed. Just jump in and start playing! \nSIGN UP FOR A TOURNAMENT\nIf you have a painted army and you would like to display your skills as a tabletop general\, why not sign up for one of our tournaments. We are running both a Bolt Action and a Beyond the Gates of Antares tournament. We are also having a painting contest. Prizes will be awarded for the tournaments and for the painting contest. \nCOME AND FIND US\nWe are less than two months away from Open Games Day in OKC and things are rapidly falling into place with vendors and contributors to the swag bag that will be given to attendees. We are family friendly and have lots of demos and open gaming for people to learn and play games the entire time. Please see your show day programme for up to date information on services available. \nWMMS: A Brief History  \nThe West Midland Military Modelling Show origins stretch back into the 1970s. Alumwell has been home to wargamers and modellers for considerable time. During the 1970s David Bickley and Phil Robinson steadily built the Show up into one of the Midlands most popular one-day events. From the mid-1980s the baton was passed to Paul Yates and David Jarman who continued to expand the show as its popularity grew. \nHowever Alumwell School was becoming more and more run down. Facilities were being withdrawn\, and the parking situation chronic. \nIt became evident that if the show was to continue\, a new venue must be found. \nAldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton looked a good prospect. A large modern venue with better than average facilities\, not too far from the motorway network. So it was with a deep breath that the 2005 Show moved to Aldersley. \nTotal attendance is now over the 1000 mark once again. We still have scope to expand and improve the show year on year. So hopefully 2016 will have new and more varied exhibits\, and more traders. \nThis years Show will be on Sunday 13th March 2016

Bolt Action season 2 rules (Here is the link http://www.wwpd.net/p/bolt-action.html ) will be in effect you may take one armored platoon and only one! Or you can take up to 2 reinforced platoons but you may not mix the two. You may also take a Glider platoon or a combat jump platoon but you may not mix it with an armored platoon. In later rounds the TO will assign players to tables with guiding principle each player plays a new opponent and plays on a different table.\n6 At the end of the day we add up the wins for each team and that side wins the day!\n7. Prizes for best Allied Best Axis and Best Minor will still be awarded.\n8. Theater Selectors are in play with one stipulation if you take a TS and you want to take two platoons the second platoon you take must be the same TS.\n9. Armored platoons are a go but you may only take one.\n10. Points value will be 1250 and we will be using the Bolt Action.net rules season 2 and we might switch to season 3 depending when it’s release is.
