DESCRIPTION:Attack! 2016 \nThe Devizes Distrct Wargames Group’s annual show Attack! will be held on the weekend of 16-17 July 2016 at: Devizes School\, The Green\, Southbroom Road\, Devizes\, SN10 3AG. \n\n\n\nThis will be the 37th year of the show; last year saw around 1000 visitors\, traders and competitors attend. The school now has new facilities for wheelchair users next to the main hall\, so things are just getting better\, \nGeneral Information:\nDevizes School is conveniently located near to the town centre. There are cash machines\, public houses and shops just a short walk from the school and there is also the benefit of free on-site parking (available on a first come basis). \nOpening Times:\nAttack! is open to the public 10.00am – 5.00pm each day and visitor costs are: Adults £2.50\, U16s £1.00 and family tickets (2 adults and 2 u16s) just £5.00. \nLocation:\nAttack! is easily found – just follow the signs to Devizes Leisure Centre or Wiltshire College and the school is right next to the Leisure Centre.

DESCRIPTION:Every game will be a public participation game with successful participants receiving a ticket that they can enter into a prize draw. DESCRIPTION:Phalanx is an wargaming and skirmish gaming convention established for over 20 years focusing on miniatures rather than card games or board games.\nThere are over 40 traders from all over the UK offering products which cover every aspect and period of wargaming  from historical periods to ultra Sci-Fi. \nAround the main hall you will find demonstration games created by clubs and traders which add flavour and colour to the show.  Some games are participation and offer a chance to join in and have some fun\, kids especially love to get involved in the participation aspect to demonstration games. \nA hugely popular part of the show is the bring and buy area. This is situated just as you enter the main hall. It is always well stocked and very busy\, some great deals are found each and every year. \nThe venue is a large sports centre with plenty of easy parking\, but if you are travelling by public transport the Centre is opposite a main line train station and bus stop. \nA caterer is being organised for the day and vending machine facilities are available.

DESCRIPTION:Reed Conference Center\, Oklahoma City\, Oklahoma 17 – 18 June 2016\nThe Warlord Open Games Day is a showcase for all of the tabletop miniature wargames that come out of Warlord Games HQ in Nottingham England\, from Bolt Action to Hail Caesar\, and even the new games such as Project Z and Konflikt ’47. \nThe Warlord Open Games Day kicks at off 5 p.m. on Friday\, 17 June at the 45th Infantry Division Museum. The museum will be open to Games Day attendees only\, allowing them to view weapons\, uniforms\, vehicles and other unit memorabilia as well as see what the 45th has accomplished while in service to our nation over the past century. The museum will have representatives on hand to answer any questions about the 45th that attendees might have. \nAfter the museum tour we will all head over the Reed Center in Mid West City where registration will open at 7 p.m. so attendees can check in. The first round of the tournaments will begin at 7:30 p.m. and at 8 p.m. the beginner demo tables will start running\, all to be concluded by 10 p.m. \nThe hall reopens at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday\, 18 June\, with all the vendors in place and all demo tables ready to go. We will also start round two of the tournaments. Round three of the tournaments will start at 1:30 p.m.\, after lunch\, and conclude with plenty of time for the tournament players to be able to give the demo tables a try including Mary Profitt and her husband Rickey Morang on hand to show you some painting ideas\, as well as lighting models with fiber optics and using LEDs …AWESOME HUH…The hall will stay open until 11:30 p.m. so everyone will get plenty of gaming time. \n \nHAVE A GO TABLES\nAll the miniatures are provided\, along with terrain\, and we have table bosses that will be happy to introduce you to whichever games you want to try. And you can try as many as you like! \nThe game tables will have varying levels of play\, from beginner to advanced\, for Hail Caesar\, Pike and Shotte\, Black Powder\, Bolt Action\, and Beyond the Gates of Antares. Additionally\, there will be tables for Judge Dredd\, Terminator: Genisys\, Project Z and Konflikt ’47. \nNo previous knowledge of the rules is needed. We have had our convention here at the Crowne Plaza Mission Valley for the last 6 years and are glad to have it here again. With over 700 gamers\, it is a fun community convention with 4-days of gaming. \nKingdom-Con is a fun party environment\, that brings the fun of a local board game night or game store tournament to a convention. We are family friendly and have lots of demos and open gaming for people to learn and play games the entire time. While certain rooms close after their events are over\, there are many rooms that are open almost the entire time at Kingdom-Con so that you can get lots of gaming in! \nThe Event Schedule for Kingdom-Con 2016 is live. The 2015 show attracted over 1000 visitors and participants. \nThe show consists of a trade fair of around 50+ stands\, 25+ demonstration and participation games. We also have a good military modelling attendance along with various re-enactment groups \nYou will find a list of traders and demo games etc elsewhere on the site. These will be updated at regular intervals during the new year as late traders are confirmed\, and layout plans are finalised. \nAldersley Leisure Village is a modern venue which caters for numerous sports\, including\, football\, hockey\, athletics\, cycling and small bore rifle shooting. It was also a training facility for the 2012 Olympic Games. \nThe main hall is one of the largest in the Midlands allowing good access\, and ensuring a comfortable amount of room for all our visitors on a single level. Disabled access is excellent. There is a baby changing room for our very young visitors! \nParking is free. Hot drinks and snacks are available in the foyer. The licensed bar will also serve food from 11:00am. Please see your show day programme for up to date information on services available. \nWMMS: A Brief History  \nThe West Midland Military Modelling Show origins stretch back into the 1970s. Alumwell has been home to wargamers and modellers for considerable time. During the 1970s David Bickley and Phil Robinson steadily built the Show up into one of the Midlands most popular one-day events. From the mid-1980s the baton was passed to Paul Yates and David Jarman who continued to expand the show as its popularity grew. \nHowever Alumwell School was becoming more and more run down. Facilities were being withdrawn\, and the parking situation chronic. \nIt became evident that if the show was to continue\, a new venue must be found. \nAldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton looked a good prospect. A large modern venue with better than average facilities\, not too far from the motorway network. So it was with a deep breath that the 2005 Show moved to Aldersley. \nTotal attendance is now over the 1000 mark once again. We still have scope to expand and improve the show year on year. So hopefully 2016 will have new and more varied exhibits\, and more traders. \nThis years Show will be on Sunday 13th March 2016
