DESCRIPTION:Sunday 4th December 2016 (10.30am – 5.30pm) \n15th June 1778 – The British have abandoned Philadelphia and are marching back to New York. Hampered by hundreds of wagons\, their progress is slow. \nEarly on June 28th the American Advance Guard under Major General Charles Lee have caught and engaged the British Rearguard. Strong British counter attacks soon put the Americans into headlong flight and sensing an opportunity\, Lt General Sir Henry Clinton orders Cornwallis’ elite Corps to assault the oncoming American main body. Washington\, having seen his Advance Guard troops fleeing across the fields has begun to organise his army to face the onrushing Redcoats. \nBattle is set…all we need now is you….. \nThere are 11 places for this event. Please be aware that these Mega games always sell out pretty quickly. \nAll you need to bring is some dice and a tape measure. No knowledge of Black Powder is neccesary as their is an umpire who can help you along the way. All terrain and figures are supplied by Andy Tutton who is running the game and advising both sides. \nPlayers are placed into teams on the day  British/Hessian x 5 American x 6 \nThere is a buffet lunch on the day which is included in the price.
