The organisers will get in touch with further information nearer the event\, so please make sure your contact details are up to date! \n  \n——GAMEDAY UPDATE——-\nDue to the excessive rain we have experienced in Nottingham over the past few weeks causing\nstructural damage to our current events hall\, at the last minute we have needed to change venue.\nOur new venue will be on the Nottingham University Kings Meadow campus\, Studio 7. For those of\nyou familiar with Nottingham\, this campus is located near Games Workshop – not that any of you\nwill want to visit there! \nOur new venue will be on the Nottingham University Kings Meadow campus\, Studio 7. \nThe new event address is: \nNottingham University\,\nStudio 7\nKings Meadow Campus\,\nLenton Lane\,\nNottingham\nNG7 2NR \nWith the change of venue\, the Grand Tournament will become a one day event running on Saturday 23rd November. Nottingham University have a strict policy of no outside catering therefore there will be no buffet lunch provided\, however\, there will be an on site café available. \nParking on the Saturday for players will be free. \nThe change to a one day event means a change to our event timings. SUMMARY:Battleground 2019: Stockton-on-Tees
DESCRIPTION:he Battleground show\, established in 2009\, started life as Smoggycon\, and was organised by Stuart Johnston and the Middlesbrough Gamers Club.  From 2013\, Pendraken Miniatures took over the organising of the show\, with the aim to build on the excellent foundations already in place. \n\nFor 2014\, the show moved to a new home\, at the Queens Campus Sports Hall\, in Stockton-on-Tees.  This building is part of the Stockton Campus of Durham University\, and provides a modern spacious hall\, able to house a bigger number of games and traders\, as well as offering local attractions and nearby shopping facilities for our visitors.  The new venue received a very positive response from the visitors. \n\nOur main aim is to constantly improve the show\, making it into one of the major shows in the north of England.  We hope you’ll come along and join us for a great day out!
