DESCRIPTION:This is a two-day tournament taking place in Marsat (Auvergne – 63212)\, France. \nWe previously organized a V2 tournament and are eager to bring this event to players in central and southern France with the release of the new V3 version. \nIndeed\, few tournaments exist in this region\, and we hope to make it an annual competitive event for all Bolt Action French central fans.\nFor this second edition\, we are targeting 12 players and will offer four competitive games on beautiful 3D-printed tables (North Africa\, Normandy\, Ardennes\, French countryside\, Holland) within the cloister of the town of Marsat. In the evening\, all players will gather around a beautiful table of Auvergne specialties to celebrate the day’s victories. \nGiven the central location of the event\, we hope to attract players from Lyon\, Montpellier\, Tours\, Brive\, and elsewhere. SUMMARY:Where Eagles Dare
DESCRIPTION:Where Eagles Dare\, is a celebration of armour in all it’s dubious oily glory. With a slight change to the rules (making the Tank Platoon the compulsory choice) and using the V2 Tank War rule book as a guide\, have also stated that all infantry and artillery units must have a transport/tow. We also restrict those nations who get tank riders to one unit of such\, fare dodging is frown upon. The emphasis is on e that it is MECHANISED WARFARE so there is a strict no horses rule. We want tanks on the table not cavalry charges……(we leave that to the Napoleonics and such). \nThe event is also used to raise funds not just for our own local wargames club (Wargames and RolePlaying Group/WARG) but also for the British Legion. As our club is hosted by the Legion\, it works out that everything we raise ends up in their coffers either in rent from the club or by direct donation from the proceeds.

DESCRIPTION:The Generals Gambit is a 2-day\, 3rd Edition Bolt Action event for 32 players across 16 tables. Players will\nengage in 6 rounds\, battling it out with their peers tactically on the table. Tickets are $50\, and this will\nbe one of the largest events we’ve run in Perth\, WA and they are going fast! We will have a collective\nprize pool to distribute to the players\, with the addition of dedicated Painting and Spirit of the Game\nawards.\nMissions will be taken from the rulebook\, revealed on the day\, and players have the option to engage in\nThe General’s Gambit. This Gambit offers players a bonus in total victory points at the end of the event\,\nif they choose to build in different liabilities into their army lists. There are 6 possible liabilities which\, if\nall are taken\, will grant a one off 10 point bonus. This is the Fourth year the event is taking place and will be the Final Star (The final Four Star Open). DESCRIPTION:This inaugural Bolt Action event is to the tournament organiser’s best knowledge\, the only Bolt Action event in West Wales. The event is aimed for players of all abilities including inexperienced and veteran players. As the event is open to beginners\, there is no requirement for fully painted armies\, although this is encouraged and is a requirement for the Best Painted Award. Equal numbers of Axis and Allies tickets are available to avoid blue on blue match-ups. Players will need to bring a single company to a maximum of 600 points and a dice cap of 10 order dice. Armoured platoons\, whilst permitted\, shall be limited to a maximum of 2 vehicles. \nPlayers shall play 4 games of Bolt Action based generally upon missions found within the Main Rulebook. Tables shall be prepared in advance and will be balanced and aesthetically appropriate for WW2 battles. Due to reduced army size\, games shall be played on 4’ x 4’ tables. Awards shall be presented to Best Painted\, Best Axis General\, Best Allied General and most importantly\, Best Sportsman – as voted by the players on the day. This event shall use Bolt Action 3rd edition rules including latest Errata/FAQ.
