DESCRIPTION:The Bolt Action Four Star Open is a Third Edition tournament consisting of three 1250 point games. This is the Fourth year the event is taking place and will be the Final Star (The final Four Star Open). The tournament will be held on Saturday\, Nov. 8\, 2025 at The Chicago Dice Dojo at 5550 N Broadway\, Chicago\, IL 60640. This event takes a break from the norm with incentives for running big tanks and allows you to take a Recce or Engineer Platoon as your required platoon instead of a Rifle Platoon. The goal is to see some units and Platoons that don’t see a lot of tournament play! Let’s break out those big tanks\, flame throwers\, and Reconnaissance Units to see some often loved but often overlooked units on the table! \nThe event is geared to be competitive but not competitive at all costs. New players and veterans are all welcome to attend. The primary objective is to continue to grow and support Bolt Action in the midwest. I hope to see you at the event!

SUMMARY:Dice of Iron
DESCRIPTION:This inaugural Bolt Action event is to the tournament organiser’s best knowledge\, the only Bolt Action event in West Wales. The event is aimed for players of all abilities including inexperienced and veteran players. As the event is open to beginners\, there is no requirement for fully painted armies\, although this is encouraged and is a requirement for the Best Painted Award. Equal numbers of Axis and Allies tickets are available to avoid blue on blue match-ups. Players will need to bring a single company to a maximum of 600 points and a dice cap of 10 order dice. Armoured platoons\, whilst permitted\, shall be limited to a maximum of 2 vehicles. \nPlayers shall play 4 games of Bolt Action based generally upon missions found within the Main Rulebook. Tables shall be prepared in advance and will be balanced and aesthetically appropriate for WW2 battles. Due to reduced army size\, games shall be played on 4’ x 4’ tables. Awards shall be presented to Best Painted\, Best Axis General\, Best Allied General and most importantly\, Best Sportsman – as voted by the players on the day. This event shall use Bolt Action 3rd edition rules including latest Errata/FAQ.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome Generals to the 3rd annual Operation Cricket Bolt Action Doubles Tournament held at the historic Camp Perry in Port Clinton\, Ohio. Each year\, our event has grown substantially in size\, and this tournament continues to be a mainstay of the Hold The Line convention. The rules are simple – 1500pts and 20 order dice max per team\, no duplicating auxiliary platoons (recce\, engineer\, armor\, etc). This is your chance to bring a partner and battle over 3 games of custom terrain and custom missions. Beware\, the missions will be designed with Doubles play in mind\, so come ready to fight as a team to complete your objectives. \nThere will be awards for Best Allied Team\, Best Axis Team\, Best Painted Army\, Best Battlefield\, and Most Sporting Team\, among a few other awards to be given at the discretion of the TO and the convention hall. Please provide your intent to play and army lists to the TO (crackerjax514@gmail.com) by October 31. Note\, all “Armies of…” books (including the Soviet Union pending release by the Oct 31 date) will be allowed in addition to the V3 rulebook and minor nations PDFs. \nDue to the substantial growth of new players across Ohio\, this event will not have a minimum painting requirement\, though it is Highly Encouraged. DESCRIPTION:Fall Gelb is named after the historical operation Case Yellow\, in which Germany attacked the Low Countries. As the event takes place in the east of the Netherlands\, the name felt quite fitting.\nThe goal of this event is to provide a fun\, beginner-friendly\, and relaxed day of gaming. It’s less of a competitive tournament and more of an opportunity for players to enjoy Bolt Action\, meet the local community\, and learn the game in a friendly environment. Hopefully fun for both experienced and new players.\nThe event will consist of three games in a single day. Armies are limited to 800 points\, and rounds last 1 hour 45 minutes\, giving even new players plenty of time to complete their games.\nPainting is not required\, although unpainted squads will receive a small penalty (–1 to any cover save throws).\nWe’ve also adjusted the Armored Platoon rules so that players with only a starter box can participate. A single vehicle may be taken even without the Command Vehicle option. A second vehicle may be added\, provided that one has the Command Vehicle special rule.\nAll lists will be reviewed to maintain a friendly and balanced environment. Highly competitive or skewed lists (e.g.\, multiple DAKKA Stuarts) will not be accepted unless thematically justified.

DESCRIPTION:Hello everyone\, here’s some information about the tournament schedule:\nA total of 3 games will be played:\nSuffice it to say\, the current army books and “Minor Nations” PDFs will be used; only “Armies of Japan” may use their rules from the core rulebook.\nArmy composition:\nYou field an army with a maximum of 1100 points.\nThere is no platoon maximum\, but the general rules for selecting new platoons must be followed.\nThere is no dice roll limit.\nThe army must be painted with at least 3 colors\, including the armor design.\nWYSIWYG applies.\nA maximum of 2 MultiRocketLauncher MRLS units may be included.\nFurthermore:\nA maximum of 2 units of the same type – you may not select a unit in your army more than twice.\nFor example\, German armies may field 2 Panzer Is and 2 Panzer IIIs.\nNote: If unit entries contain upgrades or variants – such as the Panzer IIIs – the Panzer Is are allowed. For example\, howitzers that can be upgraded from light to medium or heavy are limited to two per type. DESCRIPTION:Historical Bolt Action is a new genre of event in Italy were each battle takes place in a specific period (early war\, mid war or late war) and all the theatre selectors and tables are coherent with the chosen period. Thanks to some limitations on some particular units\, we tried to recreate lists with the most common and powerful units historically used by each armies during the war. Each battle is Axis VS Allied lists and all the pairings will recreate historical battles.
