DESCRIPTION:The Idea of this Tournament is to give beginners and returner a low level obstacle to find they way to tournament games. Especially in Germany with the new german rulebook. We have learned a lot of player are holding they armies on stand by for this translation!\nWith the restrictions of 1000 Points/12 Order Dice\, because everyone is having 12 OD\, but not everyone own more\, and a maximum of 1 Rifle platoon respectively 1 Platoon of each kind\, it will be easy for every player to bring an army on the table. A maximum of 3 vehicles in the armoured platoon prohibit a tank rush. We are playing on 48″ x 48″ tables. This shortened the time of playing. Because beginner´s always need more time\, as we learned. And you have a need for action on smaller tables. It works pretty well in a handful of testgames.\nThat´s the concept behind the tournament. And at the End\, we all have a great time with our favourite tabletop game and a bigger foundation for the communitiy.

DESCRIPTION:The El Jabalí Pisador club (“The Trampling Boar”) has been active for four years and has always focused on classic editions of Warhammer Fantasy. I joined two years ago\, bringing with me three decades of wargaming experience and a renewed interest in classic systems. Alongside this\, I have been a Bolt Action player since 2013\, taking part in several national tournaments in Spain\, and our club also enjoys other Warlord Games titles such as Black Seas\, with plans to explore their Napoleonic ranges in the near future.\nSince joining\, I have steadily encouraged other members to try Bolt Action\, and interest has grown step by step. I now act as the club’s unofficial Bolt Action coordinator\, and the increase in players and available armies has motivated me to propose our Second Bolt Action event. In the long term\, our ambition is to establish the first dedicated Bolt Action club in Valencia\, strengthening the presence of Warlord Games systems in our community.\nThis Second Annual tournament is not meant to be highly competitive\, but rather a gathering point for Bolt Action fans. Our goals are twofold: to firmly anchor Bolt Action within the club and to attract new players so the community continues to expand. DESCRIPTION:To hold this description “brief” we should just say that our main goal is to “Spread Good Game”. And that is shown with at least two directions.\nFirst of all\, from the very beginning our event was created on the idea that Good Game and having fun at the table is the main target that we are aiming at. That’s why we don’t even call it a tournament\, because most award-winning actions are not best score or most VPs\, but best minis painter and most friendly player on the event. Of course we are gonna make some more hard\, competitive events\, but it is not this day! \nThe second thing that we have to mention is literally spreading the game itself. Every person that helps us on that event is just a lad that fell in love with Bolt Action at first sight. That’s why we would love to just show it to as many people as we can\, including the young ones\, that are just getting into the passion of military and modeling. That’s why we made an event where literally everyone can show up and have some fun with their favorite minis. In our opinion\, the Bolt Action is such a fine system that it needs to be popularized\, especially that everyone would benefit from it. A bigger community means faster growth\, more players and nicer tables to play on!

SUMMARY:Operation Uranus: The Battle for Stalingrad – A Bolt Action Narrative Campaign
DESCRIPTION:After several quiet years for Bolt Action in Victoria\, a small group of long-time players set out to rebuild the local scene and introduce new players to the game. With the support of BC Hobbies\, who provided a dedicated community gaming space in a high-traffic mall location\, the group chose to focus on an engaging\, narrative-driven campaign format designed to welcome both veteran players and newcomers alike.\nOperation Uranus is a multi-month Bolt Action narrative campaign centered on the brutal fighting in and around Stalingrad. Rather than a traditional one-day tournament\, the event emphasizes historical scenarios\, evolving storylines\, and flexible attendance\, allowing players to participate week-to-week as their schedules allow. The campaign launched with a large\, cinematic six-player battle set in Stalingrad and has since expanded into weekly linked engagements reflecting the shifting momentum of the Soviet counteroffensive.\nOne of the standout strengths of the campaign has been its community outreach. Hosted in a busy mall environment\, the tables consistently attract walk-in traffic\, with spectators stopping to watch\, ask questions\, and learn about tabletop wargaming. Players make a point of welcoming visitors\, explaining the game\, and inviting interested individuals to join the group’s Facebook page. Nearly every session includes kids and families captivated by the terrain and miniatures\, making this campaign an excellent public showcase for Bolt Action as an accessible\, visually engaging historical game. The success of Operation Uranus has already led to plans for future narrative campaigns\, including another multi-month event in the spring and a large-scale desert-themed campaign planned for the fall.

DESCRIPTION:This event is a prototype for our Quarterly Events our local Team plans to band together and run. It is scenario\nbased\, or narrative play\, pushing the “friendly face” of Warlord Games while still providing a competitive / tournament style\nexperience.\n1\,200 points max\n12 order dice max\nUsing standard K-47 force building as appropriate\n2 rounds of 2 hours each\n4×4 tables.\nNo Greys (3 color+ models)\n*Standard BA forces will be allowed depending on space available\nAn unstable Rift has opened on the Island of Sicily\, just to the west of Mount Elba. Those near the Rift are\nreporting radio transmissions from out of it that are jamming nearby communication devices. Not just static bands – but\nrather voices in the native tongues of each major power in our world. In response Axis and United States airborne assets\nwere immediately deployed to support research and investigation teams. Not far behind\, the British\, Soviets and\nJapanese have dispatched research and security assets to the temporary “Front”. Players will represent assets from the\nmajor powers\, competing to discover the “Secrets behind the voices” first.\nPlayers will compete in a pair of 1 versus 1 battles to determine which of the 5 powers can score the most points\nin the narrative event. Being a narrative focused event not everything will focus on complete balanced competitive play. As\nsuch\, you should expect random wild things to happen during your games that may sway battlefield conditions. Who\nknows when a rift just might open up\, or even what that rift might do. Because of this we encourage balanced list\nbuilding and a fun open minded attitude. As such\, every scenario will include Secondary Objectives that will add to\nyour total Event Points scored in every game. For example “If you complete two secondary objectives and win you would\nscore 6 Event Points – 4 points for the win and 1 point for each secondary objective”

DESCRIPTION:This is the first non-magic tournament being held at this venue. We are trying to show them that there is more to miniature gaming than Games Workshop (currently the only miniatures game they carry). The venue is between 3 active bolt actions communities (Cleveland\, OH\, Erie\, PA and Pittsburgh\, PA). My plan is to run 2-3 tournaments a year to keep the tournaments active in all 3 areas and allow all the other TO’s a tournament they can play in. (I decided to run Tournaments specifically so that Charles Sherrange (HMGS East Greater Pittsburgh Outreach Coordinator) had a local event he can plan in and not be the TO.)
