SUMMARY:Battle for Stalingrad!
DESCRIPTION:The Battle for Stalingrad is an immersive\, non competitive 2 day event which will see a total of 20 played scenarios chosen from Warlord Games’ Stalingrad and Case Blue campaign books. These Scenarios will involve steppe fighting before the siege of Stalingrad\, scenarios of the Soviet counteroffensive in the snowy\, frozen Winter of 43 and of course scenarios within the city where Germans and Soviets will fight for every inch on the game board. Iconic fights such as the Concrete Monolith and Pavlov’s house are among a long list of the many bloody battles that will be fought. \nFriuli War Games\, with this event\, is trying to organize a proper “Bolt Action Experience”. where players coming from all over Italy will feel immersed in these historic battles. The main goal if everyone to have as much fun as possible and to feel like they’re on the battle field with the (plastic) troops. With this mentality\, the group is looking to create a one of a kind event in Italy\, and to create a format which can be used for other campaigns in the future. We are working very hard to create the best quality tables and scenarios as possible\, to build a strong community for this more historical way of playing the beautiful game that is Bolt Action.  \nPictures and battle reports will follow the event…With Battle for Stalingrad we will be saying “goodbye V2 and welcome V3” as this event will be played using the V2 rules not having enough time to experiment with the new rules.

DESCRIPTION:Operation Triple Threat is a beginner friendly escalation league being run in the ACVC Hub in Glasgow. The aim of the league is to introduce players old and new Bolt Action 3rd Edition rules\, get to grips with the new platoon structure and generally have some fun! OTT involves 3 rounds of games with 2 games per round.\nRound 1 is 500 points\, single rifle platoon only.\nRound 2 is 750 points\, 1 rifle platoon plus 1 other platoon.\nRound 3 is 1000 points\, unlimited platoons.

SUMMARY:NLS Presents: Bridge over the River Wensum - A Bolt Action Slow Grow League
DESCRIPTION:Bridge over the River Wensum is a slow grow\, escalation league running over 4 months. It sees players ramping their forces up from 500 points to 1250 by the final month. Each player is required to play 2 games per round. Players score points for winning battles and painting their armies\, with the aim to have a fully painted army by the end of the league and having had a lot of fun along the way. At the end of the league\, the player with the highest combined score between hobby and battle points will win the coveted overall Supreme Commander Award. There are also awards for Best General\, Best Hobbyist\, Best Painted and Best Themed armies alongside that most important of all awards\, The Wooden Spoon! \nThe aim of the league was to grow the Bolt Action community within the club and\, with 14 participants\, it seems to have succeded! Everyone has had a lot of fun so far and\, with 1 more round of games to play\, there is still a lot to play for.

DESCRIPTION:South Wales Warlords are proud to present our Bolt Action charity doubles event and invite you to join us on Saturday 9th November 2024 for a fun and action packed 3 game day with prize support and a raffle. Tickets are priced at £20 for the day and includes a buffet lunch. Tickets can be purchased from South Wales Warlords Facebook page or by contacting the TO. This event shall use the v3 rules and all money made from this event will be donated will be donated to our chosen charity\, Link’s Combined Forces Project (registered charity number 1139855). \nPlayers will be matched with a random partner on the day to form a team and will play their three games with their teammate. Both players in a team will have their own 550-point list that they will control during the game. This will be a good-natured fun event for players of all abilities\, new and experienced.

DESCRIPTION:V3 at Vet-Con will be a friendly Bolt Action tournament intended to welcome new players and bring back old players to our great game. Version 3 has lots of great improvements which speed up play and add new dynamics to the game. Build your army of 1250 points with a maximum of four platoons and 20 order dice. We will play three 2 1/2-hour rounds with scenarios generated randomly from the new edition. New players are especially welcome\, and several loaner armies will be available. Every new player will go home with a sprue of infantry.\nEvery table will feature challenging terrain and no two will be the same. Will you fight in the close confines of the Normandy Bocage\, the wind-swept Steppes of Russia\, or the sweltering heat of a South Pacific jungle? There will be abundant prize support for everyone so join us for my first version 3 Bolt Action tournament.
