SUMMARY:Battle for Stalingrad!
DESCRIPTION:The Battle for Stalingrad is an immersive\, non competitive 2 day event which will see a total of 20 played scenarios chosen from Warlord Games’ Stalingrad and Case Blue campaign books. These Scenarios will involve steppe fighting before the siege of Stalingrad\, scenarios of the Soviet counteroffensive in the snowy\, frozen Winter of 43 and of course scenarios within the city where Germans and Soviets will fight for every inch on the game board. Iconic fights such as the Concrete Monolith and Pavlov’s house are among a long list of the many bloody battles that will be fought. \nFriuli War Games\, with this event\, is trying to organize a proper “Bolt Action Experience”. where players coming from all over Italy will feel immersed in these historic battles. The main goal if everyone to have as much fun as possible and to feel like they’re on the battle field with the (plastic) troops. With this mentality\, the group is looking to create a one of a kind event in Italy\, and to create a format which can be used for other campaigns in the future. We are working very hard to create the best quality tables and scenarios as possible\, to build a strong community for this more historical way of playing the beautiful game that is Bolt Action.  \nPictures and battle reports will follow the event…With Battle for Stalingrad we will be saying “goodbye V2 and welcome V3” as this event will be played using the V2 rules not having enough time to experiment with the new rules.

DESCRIPTION:First of all\, we want to stimulate the local battlefield scene\, integrating the local community and at the same time providing an alternative to tournaments organized in Warsaw.\nThe second reason is the desire to promote Bolt Action (which we in fact consider one of the best battle games) among both members of our association and local players.\nThe idea for the event and the date are not accidental – we want to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Allied landing in Normandy. As part of preparations for the event\, on May 10\, we are organizing a demonstration of the game (Kierunek: Normandia | Facebook)\, as well as painting workshops preceding the main event (Boltowe paciaje | Facebook).

SUMMARY:2024 Bolt Action 80th Anniversary of D-Day Open Play and Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The D-Day 80th Anniversary Event will held by Anarchy Games and Hobbies’ Bolt Action group on June 8th and 9th.  This will be a great opportunity to learn the game of Bolt Action as well as some of Warlord Games other World War 2 strategy games\, such as Blood Red Skies. Sunday June 9th will also provide the opportunity to play in a competitive\, yet friendly tournament with one of South Central Illinois’ biggest Bolt Action communities.  Custom terrain and a variety of themed tables will represent a wide variety of theatres in WW2 to appeal to every WW2 enthusiast.  There will be large a number of prizes provided and will be a great way to meet other Bolt Action players in South Central Illinois and beyond. Come out to connect with other Bolt Action enthusiasts in the region\, win prizes and compete! This tournament will be comprised of three rounds\, 1000 points\, single or dual reinforced platoons from the Generic selector.  The *TENTATIVE* scenarios chosen are:  1) Meeting Engagement 2) Sectors\, and 3) Timely Objectives.

DESCRIPTION:Join us at the East Coast Comic Expo on June 08th\, 2024\, for a fun day of Bolt Action.\nThis tournament will be geared towards beginner and intermediate players.
