SUMMARY:Battle for Stalingrad!
DESCRIPTION:The Battle for Stalingrad is an immersive\, non competitive 2 day event which will see a total of 20 played scenarios chosen from Warlord Games’ Stalingrad and Case Blue campaign books. These Scenarios will involve steppe fighting before the siege of Stalingrad\, scenarios of the Soviet counteroffensive in the snowy\, frozen Winter of 43 and of course scenarios within the city where Germans and Soviets will fight for every inch on the game board. Iconic fights such as the Concrete Monolith and Pavlov’s house are among a long list of the many bloody battles that will be fought. \nFriuli War Games\, with this event\, is trying to organize a proper “Bolt Action Experience”. where players coming from all over Italy will feel immersed in these historic battles. The main goal if everyone to have as much fun as possible and to feel like they’re on the battle field with the (plastic) troops. With this mentality\, the group is looking to create a one of a kind event in Italy\, and to create a format which can be used for other campaigns in the future. We are working very hard to create the best quality tables and scenarios as possible\, to build a strong community for this more historical way of playing the beautiful game that is Bolt Action.  \nPictures and battle reports will follow the event…With Battle for Stalingrad we will be saying “goodbye V2 and welcome V3” as this event will be played using the V2 rules not having enough time to experiment with the new rules.

DESCRIPTION:Bigger\, Badder\, Better – with more time for rounds this time!\nA two day\, five game Bolt Action Grand Tournament hosted in the heart of the UK at the largest Hobby Games Convention in the country!\nArmies are to be made of 1\,250pts using one of the following:\nUp to two generic reinforced platoons\nOne theatre selector\nEach game will be 2h:30m in duration. \nThis tournament is unapologetically a competitive event\, and players will be expected to bring their A game and attempt to out-think and outplay their opponents on the day. To not discourage the more casual player\, we tend to find that being up front and admitting that people will be trying to win leads to a more fun & relaxed day. We know what we are all here for after all! This is not an excuse for poor sportsmanship; our #1 rule is showing respect to your opponents and each other. Players will\ncompete on merit & skill rather than underhand techniques to abuse their way to victory. Callous behaviour or unsporting habits (not declaring before rolling\, slow playing etc) is not acceptable and any outright cheating will be a one-way ticket out the door.\nTo further emphasise our style of event\, only small token awards will be given to the top placed players\, as winning is the reward itself. Instead\, all the prizes will be raffled off to random entrants regardless of placement. Therefore\, please do not feel you\nneed to be God’s gift to Bolt Action to attend. You could come\, lose every game\, and still walk away with a smile on your face and a new army box under your arm!

This will be a great opportunity to play in a competitive\, yet friendly\nenvironment with London Ontario’s biggest Bolt Action community in Ontario’s biggest\ngaming room. Custom terrain and a variety of themed tables will represent a wide variety\nof theatres in WW2 to appeal to every WW2 enthusiast. There will be large a number of\nprizes provided and will be a great way to meet other Bolt Action players in South\nWestern Ontario. Come out to connect with other Bolt Action enthusiasts in the region\,\nwin prizes and compete!\nThis tournament will be comprised of three rounds\, 1000 points\, single or dual reinforced\nplatoons from the Generic selector. The scenarios chosen will be: 1) Meeting\nEngagement 2) Sectors\, and 3) Timely Objectives.
