DESCRIPTION:24th June \n£30 per team including a buffet lunch \nYou and your teammate participate in a total of 3 rounds of team doubles gameplay. Each game will be 2.5 hours long with lunch included. \nARMY BUILDING \nTEAM FORMAT NOTES \nAxis vs Allies: Teams must either be entirely Axis or entirely Allied. \nOrder dice: BOTH players on a team must have separate order dice. That means that in the dice cup/bag\, there will be 4 sets of order dice. Whichever team members die is drawn\, that player will activate. To the aid or detriment of their partner! \nOfficers: In all our games\, officers do not give morale bonuses to units outside their platoon. \nDefinitions: Each two-person team will count as “The Player” with regards to any national special rules or scenario objectives. \nFor example\, the Italian rules will count losses from both persons force. \n“Free Unit” National Rules apply to the combined team. That means 2 British players may only take 1 free artillery observer per team. 1 free soviet squad etc. \nArmy lists must be formed using a generic reinforced platoon or theatre selector from appropriate supplement books. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you. I have full confidence in your courage\, devotion to duty\, and skill in battle.”\nGeneral Dwight D. Eisenhower \nOn the morning of June 6th 1944 at 0631 hours the largest and possibly the most important coastal landing in human history code named Operation Overlord took place along a large stretch of French coastline. Over 150\,000 American\, British\, Canadian and other Allied souls spent their blood\, sweat\, and tears on that overcast summer morning to begin the final fight that would see the end of Adolf Hitler’s rule over Europe and the reign of terror that had thus cost the lives of millions on three continents over the previous 6 years.  \nWe at Spa City Wargamers have a very strong affinity for Bolt Action by Warlord Games and the appreciation to history this game can bring. In that light we are pleased to announce a special scenario event to take place on Saturday June 9th to commorate this monumental achievement by that Greatest Generation. This will be a two table event pitting the forces of Nazi Germany against the combined might of American and British allied countries. \n This event will have enough table space for up to 8 Allied and 8 German players. Both tables will be 8×4 feet long. One will feature the Dog Green sector of Normandy Beach and the second will be a recreation of the French countryside behind the Atlantic wall. Opsec plan Alpha is to meet up at Smokin In Style BBQ ( 2278 Albert Pike Road Hot Springs AR 71913) at high noon for lunch and then proceeded with the dice rolling after chow. This is an open event for anyone interested in playing. Armies can be provided for those who either don’t own any of the aforementioned forces\, but I highly encourage folks to bring their own if they do.  \nReservations are most certainly better than just showing up but please feel free to drop on by if only to check it out. SUMMARY:Spring '18 Bolt Action Tournament - Off The Wall Games; Hadley\, MA\, USA
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, May 5th\, Off The Wall games will be hosting a Bolt Action tournament in Hadley\, MA to wrap up their first Bolt Action Escalation League. Registration begins at 11 am\, and dice hit the table promptly at 12 pm. Please have your 1000 point lists (if you played in the league\, it must be for the nation you played) completed and written out to be reviewed during registration. It is preferable that they be created in Easy Army or Army Builder. List may be submitted to the store Sarge (Brian Alter) either in person or via email at bigsquishybrain@gmail.com. Please use the subject Line: <your name> May Bolt Action Tournament List \nThe tournament will consist of 3 rounds\, with a break between rounds 1 and 2 for lunch. Entry is $15.00. Prizes will be offered for 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place\, as well as for best painted. The entry fee includes $5 per person for pizza\, and the remainder will go to prize support. \nEscalation League players will be given tokens to be redeemed for rerolls based on their accumulated points during the league. The League raffle will also be drawn on tournament day. If you cannot be present for the raffle\, please advise the store Sarge\, and tickets will be entered on your behalf.
