SUMMARY:Caladrius Games Escalation & Veni\, Vidi\, Vici Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Currently we have a small informal local Bolt Action community comprised of new players\nand a few seasoned tournament veterans (one 2023 WTC participant). Our goal is entice\nmore players\, educate everyone on the new 3rd Edition rule set and build a sense of\ncollegial competition. We have designed a simple and straightforward set of rules for the\nescalation league designed to value education over competition. The culmination will be a\ncompetitive format tournament in August we are calling “Veni\, Vidi\, Vici”. In addition to\npromotional flyers in area game stores\, we have tried to weekly build hype and draw in new\nplayers via Caladrius Games (host store) Facebook site\, as well as both Georgia and\nTennessee Bolt Action Facebook groups. Thus far the response has been bigger than we\nreasonably hoped. January 26th we are hosting a kicko event to introduce everyone to\nthe format\, familiarize with the 3 terrain tables we have built for the league and answer any\nquestions regarding the league\, tournament or 3rd Edition rule set. This will include free\nhamburgers and hotdogs to hopefully entice any fence sitters and allow for socializing.\nMyself and another player have offered free loaner armies for anyone that would like to play\nbut may have nancial constraints.

DESCRIPTION:Trondheim’s premier Bolt Action tournament is back! 3 games at 1250pts\, all in one day at the Wartrond Clubhouse. We’ll be using missions from the core rule book\, randomly generated on the day. If you want to participate but don’t have an army\, speak to the TO as soon as possible and we should be able to organise a loaner. There is no painting requirement\, but any proxies should be cleared with the TO first. In general\, close proxies are fine (LMG as MMG\, etc)\, as long it’s clear for both players what is what. Prizes will be awarded for: 1st plade\, 2nd place\, 3rd place\, Most Sporting Opponent (participant vote)\, Best Painted Army (participant vote).\nTickets cost 50kr (Doesn’t include entry to the Wartrond clubhouse – speak to the TO and check out the Wartrond website if you’re unsure: wartrond.no )
