SUMMARY:Caladrius Games Escalation & Veni\, Vidi\, Vici Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Currently we have a small informal local Bolt Action community comprised of new players\nand a few seasoned tournament veterans (one 2023 WTC participant). Our goal is entice\nmore players\, educate everyone on the new 3rd Edition rule set and build a sense of\ncollegial competition. We have designed a simple and straightforward set of rules for the\nescalation league designed to value education over competition. The culmination will be a\ncompetitive format tournament in August we are calling “Veni\, Vidi\, Vici”. In addition to\npromotional flyers in area game stores\, we have tried to weekly build hype and draw in new\nplayers via Caladrius Games (host store) Facebook site\, as well as both Georgia and\nTennessee Bolt Action Facebook groups. Thus far the response has been bigger than we\nreasonably hoped. January 26th we are hosting a kicko event to introduce everyone to\nthe format\, familiarize with the 3 terrain tables we have built for the league and answer any\nquestions regarding the league\, tournament or 3rd Edition rule set. This will include free\nhamburgers and hotdogs to hopefully entice any fence sitters and allow for socializing.\nMyself and another player have offered free loaner armies for anyone that would like to play\nbut may have nancial constraints.

Where else better to start than with an Escalation League?\nPlaying at CM games in Cedar Bluff on Monday nights\, we are in a central location for all in the Knox county and surrounding counties. We have reserved a private room with 6 tables for each round of the league\, so that means less waiting time between games. We have a great mix of competitive players\, narrative players\, and those who focus on the building and painting aspect\, so no matter what you are looking for\, someone here shares your passion. We will have prizes for the best general as well as the hobbyist with the most “Logistics points”\, Best painted\, most respected opponent\, most terrain created etc. So please join us on February 24th for our first round of the league! SUMMARY:Rumble at Ragecon
DESCRIPTION:I will be running a three round Bolt Action tournament on Saturday\, June 28 at the\nfabulous Grand Sierra Resort in Reno\, Nevada. The Biggest Little City in the World! This\nis an awesome venue and convention with an expected attendance of over 1300.\nRumble at ragecon will be a fast-paced tournament with army lists of 850 points and 14\norder dice limit. In order to get stuck in right away the tables will be limited to 4X4 as\nwell. There will be a wide variety of tables featured including Normandy Village\,\nNormandy Farm\, Burma Jungle\, Woodland River\, and many more. Ragecon and the\nReno area Bolt Action players will be supporting this tournament by hosting a number of\nlearn to play Bolt Action games on Friday. I will be assisting at these events\, helping to\nbuild our community. I will also bring two loaner armies for anyone who wants to\nparticipate. The Reno area Bolt Action community started small\, but is growing\, and this\nevent will bring even more members into our community.
