SUMMARY:Caladrius Games Escalation & Veni\, Vidi\, Vici Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Currently we have a small informal local Bolt Action community comprised of new players\nand a few seasoned tournament veterans (one 2023 WTC participant). Our goal is entice\nmore players\, educate everyone on the new 3rd Edition rule set and build a sense of\ncollegial competition. We have designed a simple and straightforward set of rules for the\nescalation league designed to value education over competition. The culmination will be a\ncompetitive format tournament in August we are calling “Veni\, Vidi\, Vici”. In addition to\npromotional flyers in area game stores\, we have tried to weekly build hype and draw in new\nplayers via Caladrius Games (host store) Facebook site\, as well as both Georgia and\nTennessee Bolt Action Facebook groups. Thus far the response has been bigger than we\nreasonably hoped. January 26th we are hosting a kicko event to introduce everyone to\nthe format\, familiarize with the 3 terrain tables we have built for the league and answer any\nquestions regarding the league\, tournament or 3rd Edition rule set. This will include free\nhamburgers and hotdogs to hopefully entice any fence sitters and allow for socializing.\nMyself and another player have offered free loaner armies for anyone that would like to play\nbut may have nancial constraints.

We have reserved a private room with 6 tables for each round of the league\, so that means less waiting time between games. We have a great mix of competitive players\, narrative players\, and those who focus on the building and painting aspect\, so no matter what you are looking for\, someone here shares your passion. We will have prizes for the best general as well as the hobbyist with the most “Logistics points”\, Best painted\, most respected opponent\, most terrain created etc. So please join us on February 24th for our first round of the league! SUMMARY:Holy Roller Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The Holy Roller is a Southern Ontario Bolt Action Circuit (SOBA) PREMIUM EVENT. It is named after our local Sherman III\, one of only 2 Canadian Tanks to land on D-Day and survive to the end of the war. It is the only London event during the SOBA season and we are pulling out all the stops. Not a SOBA Member? No problem\, everyone is welcome. 1250 point lists using only units found within the Version 3 Rulebook or the Further Axis & Allied Nations Army List PDFs. Players will compete in 3 games over the course of the day to see who will be crowned the Holy Roller. Think you’ve got what it takes? This tournament is the place to prove it. In addition to prize support from Warlord Games\, we have some local establishments with ties to the Holy Roller also donating prizes. The day will culminate with a post-tournament gathering for all who wish to attend at Toboggan Brewing Co. where they have graciously offered a discount to tournament players.

SUMMARY:D-Day Overlord
DESCRIPTION:This is a non-competitive event that will be held at the Torre Nera Club in Forlì on June 14-15\, 2025. Players will find themselves fighting some of the main battles of D-Day and the following days\, following the chronological progression of events. The first day will be dedicated to the landings of American\, British and Canadian troops and to the sabotage actions of the partisans and English and American paratroopers. The second day of Battles will be dedicated to inland operations\, urban and tank battles\, and we will have a table dedicated to a very particular mission\, designed for the event where the special forces and ground troops will have to take possession of an important port in German hands\, sink a submarine in the dock and sabotage a railway line. We will use historically accurate lists using the V2 campaign books as references but with the V3 army selection method. A perfect event to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the D-Day campaign!
