DESCRIPTION:Operation Triple Threat is a beginner friendly escalation league being run in the ACVC Hub in Glasgow. The aim of the league is to introduce players old and new Bolt Action 3rd Edition rules\, get to grips with the new platoon structure and generally have some fun! OTT involves 3 rounds of games with 2 games per round.\nRound 1 is 500 points\, single rifle platoon only.\nRound 2 is 750 points\, 1 rifle platoon plus 1 other platoon.\nRound 3 is 1000 points\, unlimited platoons.

SUMMARY:NLS Presents: Bridge over the River Wensum - A Bolt Action Slow Grow League
DESCRIPTION:Bridge over the River Wensum is a slow grow\, escalation league running over 4 months. It sees players ramping their forces up from 500 points to 1250 by the final month. Each player is required to play 2 games per round. Players score points for winning battles and painting their armies\, with the aim to have a fully painted army by the end of the league and having had a lot of fun along the way. At the end of the league\, the player with the highest combined score between hobby and battle points will win the coveted overall Supreme Commander Award. There are also awards for Best General\, Best Hobbyist\, Best Painted and Best Themed armies alongside that most important of all awards\, The Wooden Spoon! \nThe aim of the league was to grow the Bolt Action community within the club and\, with 14 participants\, it seems to have succeded! Everyone has had a lot of fun so far and\, with 1 more round of games to play\, there is still a lot to play for.

SUMMARY:TTB Bolt Action Winter War 24
DESCRIPTION:The local club\, Tabletopbattle\, has been hosting BA events since first edition. A couple of our guys have even popped over to Warlords to help out hosting the big game-day\, so we are silver-foxes in the community. As a club\, we have a focus on teaching todays youth that it’s ok to be a nerd\, and how to actually play games with other people rather than on the web. \nThe event itself\, will be one long action packed day! We will only be playing 3 games on the Saturday\, but as always we will have a gameday on Sunday\, where the players can modify their lists\, and square off again in a grudge match against their favourite enemy. Since everyone is new to third edition\, we’re increasing the time limit to 3 hours per game\, BUT we have crammed 3 victory conditions into each scenario so that the games will be as dramatic as possible! We will reward players for sportsmanship\, theatre inspired historical lists\, as well as for winning the games\, oh and of course the wooden spoon (That often is almost as cool as second place). From the youngest (11) to oldest (57)\, we have a healthy mix of all ages and sexes. Everyone is welcome at Tabletopbattle\, and we also try to pair up players as fairly as possible in the first round\, so everyone meets someone at “their level” and if possible Axis vs Allies.
