DESCRIPTION:Operation Triple Threat is a beginner friendly escalation league being run in the ACVC Hub in Glasgow. The aim of the league is to introduce players old and new Bolt Action 3rd Edition rules\, get to grips with the new platoon structure and generally have some fun! OTT involves 3 rounds of games with 2 games per round.\nRound 1 is 500 points\, single rifle platoon only.\nRound 2 is 750 points\, 1 rifle platoon plus 1 other platoon.\nRound 3 is 1000 points\, unlimited platoons.

SUMMARY:NLS Presents: Bridge over the River Wensum - A Bolt Action Slow Grow League
DESCRIPTION:Bridge over the River Wensum is a slow grow\, escalation league running over 4 months. It sees players ramping their forces up from 500 points to 1250 by the final month. Each player is required to play 2 games per round. Players score points for winning battles and painting their armies\, with the aim to have a fully painted army by the end of the league and having had a lot of fun along the way. At the end of the league\, the player with the highest combined score between hobby and battle points will win the coveted overall Supreme Commander Award. There are also awards for Best General\, Best Hobbyist\, Best Painted and Best Themed armies alongside that most important of all awards\, The Wooden Spoon! \nThe aim of the league was to grow the Bolt Action community within the club and\, with 14 participants\, it seems to have succeded! Everyone has had a lot of fun so far and\, with 1 more round of games to play\, there is still a lot to play for.

DESCRIPTION:It will be the first tournament in a series of tournaments that will establish the Bolt-Action gaming system in southwest Germany. There is currently no fixed event in this region where Bolt Action is played on a competitive basis.\nIn this region there are a large number of bolt-action players who should now be encouraged to become even more active through this series of tournaments. Furthermore\, this event should also encourage international players to play well-organized bolt action tournaments in Germany.\nSince I travel internationally as a player myself and thereby build up networks\, I also hope to establish a long-term international tournament. DESCRIPTION:This will be the first bolt action v3 tournament in Italy using HBA rules. We tried to adapt the previous HBA regulation for historical gaming to the new edition by choosing a v2 theatre selector from which to choose units for the v3 list.\nWith this method we get to play with more realistic armies in more realistic battles always following axis Vs allies clash.

SUMMARY:Operation Mincemeat 2024
DESCRIPTION:Operation Mincemeat is a two day Bolt Action tournament based on the outskirts of Nottingham. The event is an unapologetically competitive tournament and players are expected to bring their “A” game and attempt to out-think and outplay their opponents. We tend to find being upfront about the style of event leads to a more fun and relaxed few days. Being a competitive event is not an excuse for poor sportsmanship. Our #1 rule is showing respect to your opponents and each other. Players will compete on merit and skill rather than underhand techniques to abuse their way to victory. Anything else will be a one way ticket out the door. \nTo further emphasise our style of event\, only small token awards will be given to the top placed players\, as winning is the reward itself. Instead all of the prizes will be raffled off to random entrants regardless of placement. Therefore please do not feel you need to be god’s gift to Bolt Action to attend. You can come\, lose every game\, and still walk away with a smile on your face and a new army box under your arm!
