SUMMARY:1 ère Convention Bolt Action France
DESCRIPTION:The 1 ère Bolt Action convention aims to promote Bolt Action gaming. It is organized by the "Warames\net Figurines" association\, the "Bolt Action France" Discord server (365 members) and the "Wargame\nMiniature Tuto" channel (3\,200 subscribers).\nThe event is aimed at 3 types of visitors:\n Grognards who already play the game and want to meet other players in a friendly\natmosphere\n Newbies who are new to this world and want to learn about the rules\, meet the experts and\nget started on specially dedicated tables.\n The curious\, history or model-making enthusiasts\, wargame fans\, children and those with a\nchildlike spirit.\nWe will be proposing :\n 9 gaming tables (depending on participants) for 2-hour games throughout the day\n 1 introductory "maginot line" table 120×120 tables with elaborate scenarios for beginners.\n 1 painting competition on the theme of "vehicles & armoured vehicles" with prizes for the\ntop 3 artists\n 1 figurine assembly workshop where visitors can assemble a figurine and leave with it free of\ncharge (depending on the prize).\n 1 exchange zone where players can exchange miniatures\n 1 store area dedicated to the Bolt Action universe\n 1 catering area\nThe event will not be organized as a classic tournament\, but rather as a friendly get-together of\nplayers and enthusiasts\, with more of a "club meeting" spirit than a competitive one. \nAdmission will be free for visitors\, and a small contribution will be requested from players to secure\ntheir participation. A badge will be available for Bolt Action France members\, allowing them to put a\nface behind a nickname.\nThe event will be followed and animated by the YouTube channel Wargame Miniature Tuto\, which\nwill produce a promo video\, a review video and potentially a live broadcast of gaming tables\nthroughout the day. Posts will be made on the BOLT ACTION and BOLT ACTION.FR facebook pages +\nvarious groups dedicated to wargames and miniatures.

On April 20th and 21st\, we’ll be providing you with the opportunity to learn all about this fun and unique game and play through a number of beginner friendly missions that introduce different elements of Bolt Action.\nYou’ll also get to take home your first bolt action figure\, with time set aside to learn about the crafting side of the hobby.
