SUMMARY:Konflikt 47 Slow Grow League
DESCRIPTION:The new edition of Konflikt 47 drew the attention of a lot or players in our community! Some experienced Warlord players\, and a few from other game systems who became “Konflikt Kurious” and wanted to know more. With the release of the new army sets\, we saw a lot of players ready themselves quickly with a new force\, and were eager to start learning the rules. After several demo games and conversations in store\, we organised a slow grow league to allow new players to learn the game in an escalation league\, where the points increase each month\, leading to larger games but with better knowledge of their units and rules! \nThe league will use some restrictions\, to keep the smaller games more balanced\, and stop higher armoured infantry units dominating the early stages. For example\, month 1 will only allow a maximum damage value of 8 for vehicles\, and 7 for infantry. There is also a cap of 2 copies of the same unit\, excluding commanders\, to encourage players to bring a balanced force to begin with. Our league co-ordinator\, Matt\, has also made an awesome hex map\, where players can fight for territories in Dresden\, and claim them for their nation’s glory! A visual map and narrative background has paved the way for an exciting campaign\, and I can’t wait to see how it looks in the closing weeks as we prepare for a big battle final!

Every session is designed to be accessible\, engaging\, and fun\, making it easy for new players to jump in and experienced players to push their strategic limits.\nWhat makes this league truly exceptional is its momentum and sense of community. Our second season is already set to surpass 20 participants\, demonstrating how quickly interest and enthusiasm are growing across our stores. Players know they can expect high‑quality tables\, fair pairings\, and a friendly atmosphere supported by dedicated organizers who care deeply about the hobby. The league fosters camaraderie\, sportsmanship\, and creativity through painting contests\, themed missions\, and narrative progression. With prizes\, monthly highlights\, and a season finale that brings everyone together\, the Bolt Action League is more than a competition—it’s a celebration of historical wargaming and one of the most exciting community events in the Montréal region. Everyone who joins becomes part of something bigger\, and that’s exactly why players keep coming back.

DESCRIPTION:This will be my 3rd time organising this yearly tournament and\nnarrative event. We prepare thematic campaigns for our players as well\nas a competitive tournament for those that prefer this style of play.\nThis year we have Normandy 44\, Poland 1939\, Kołobrzeg and North Africa.\nThis is actually the largest Bolt Action event in Poland this year as we\nexpect a record amount of players. We have had great success in our\nprevious editions with our unique blend of competetive and narrative\ngames. I myself have organised other bolt action competitive events like\n“Wieliczkowe Rozgrywki” 1 and 2.\nThis year we also plan to test our standardised format for a tournament\ncycle next year in Poland called “Rogatywka”.
