It’s great for learning the game or making new friends in the\ncommunity. Over the course of four months slowly build up a 1250 point army. Each month we add\n250pts of new units to our forces and play 2 games with the missions that go out at the start of the\nmonth. At the end of the league we will have a big game with all the players from across central\nIndiana that can make it followed by the awards ceremony.

DESCRIPTION:I will be running a three round friendly Bolt Action tournament on Saturday\, November 8.\nEach round will be 2 ½ hours. Players will bring a 1250-point list with a maximum of four\nplatoons and 18 order dice. Defending players will have the option of removing a few\ntroops from their lists in exchange for barbed wire obstacles\, minefields and tank traps.\nThis will take place during the third annual Veterans Day convention hosted by Dave\nPartak. Military veterans from all over the West coast will be honored with three days of\ngaming and friendship.\nPlayers will have a variety of beautifully detailed tables to play on including Normandy\nBocage\, Normandy Village\, Potemkin Village\, Belin 1945\, North Africa\, Northern\nEuropean farm\, Burma jungle and woodland.

SUMMARY:Bolt Action Four Start Open 2025
DESCRIPTION:The Bolt Action Four Star Open is a Third Edition tournament consisting of three 1250 point games. This is the Fourth year the event is taking place and will be the Final Star (The final Four Star Open). The tournament will be held on Saturday\, Nov. 8\, 2025 at The Chicago Dice Dojo at 5550 N Broadway\, Chicago\, IL 60640. This event takes a break from the norm with incentives for running big tanks and allows you to take a Recce or Engineer Platoon as your required platoon instead of a Rifle Platoon. The goal is to see some units and Platoons that don’t see a lot of tournament play! Let’s break out those big tanks\, flame throwers\, and Reconnaissance Units to see some often loved but often overlooked units on the table! \nThe event is geared to be competitive but not competitive at all costs. New players and veterans are all welcome to attend. The primary objective is to continue to grow and support Bolt Action in the midwest. I hope to see you at the event!

SUMMARY:Dice of Iron
DESCRIPTION:This inaugural Bolt Action event is to the tournament organiser’s best knowledge\, the only Bolt Action event in West Wales. The event is aimed for players of all abilities including inexperienced and veteran players. As the event is open to beginners\, there is no requirement for fully painted armies\, although this is encouraged and is a requirement for the Best Painted Award. Equal numbers of Axis and Allies tickets are available to avoid blue on blue match-ups. Players will need to bring a single company to a maximum of 600 points and a dice cap of 10 order dice. Armoured platoons\, whilst permitted\, shall be limited to a maximum of 2 vehicles. \nPlayers shall play 4 games of Bolt Action based generally upon missions found within the Main Rulebook. Tables shall be prepared in advance and will be balanced and aesthetically appropriate for WW2 battles. Due to reduced army size\, games shall be played on 4’ x 4’ tables. Awards shall be presented to Best Painted\, Best Axis General\, Best Allied General and most importantly\, Best Sportsman – as voted by the players on the day. This event shall use Bolt Action 3rd edition rules including latest Errata/FAQ.
