SUMMARY:Caladrius Games Escalation & Veni\, Vidi\, Vici Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Currently we have a small informal local Bolt Action community comprised of new players\nand a few seasoned tournament veterans (one 2023 WTC participant). Our goal is entice\nmore players\, educate everyone on the new 3rd Edition rule set and build a sense of\ncollegial competition. We have designed a simple and straightforward set of rules for the\nescalation league designed to value education over competition. The culmination will be a\ncompetitive format tournament in August we are calling “Veni\, Vidi\, Vici”. In addition to\npromotional flyers in area game stores\, we have tried to weekly build hype and draw in new\nplayers via Caladrius Games (host store) Facebook site\, as well as both Georgia and\nTennessee Bolt Action Facebook groups. Thus far the response has been bigger than we\nreasonably hoped. January 26th we are hosting a kicko event to introduce everyone to\nthe format\, familiarize with the 3 terrain tables we have built for the league and answer any\nquestions regarding the league\, tournament or 3rd Edition rule set. This will include free\nhamburgers and hotdogs to hopefully entice any fence sitters and allow for socializing.\nMyself and another player have offered free loaner armies for anyone that would like to play\nbut may have nancial constraints.

DESCRIPTION:A V3 event in Canberra/Queanbeyan with one 1111-point list to be provided.\nThe cost will be $40 one day\, $70 for 2 days.\nLists will be checked by a nominated person before the 16th.\nArmy list guidelines\nlimitations on unit selection.\nYou may only include a maximum of one unit that can shoot any type of Multi rocket launcher.\nAir observers and artillery observers with special national rules can only apply the special national rules to a maximum of one of the observer units taken\, nominated by the player at the time of deployment.\nMaximum Two of Any Unit You may not take any unit in your army more than twice. E.g. Armies of Germany may take two Panzer Is and two Panzer IIIs. Note that where a unit’s entries have upgrades or different variations\, such as howitzers with the option to upgrade a light to a medium or heavy howitzer\, the limit of two applies to each type.\nThe following exceptions apply: Infantry Squads\, Medics and Platoon Commanders. These can be taken without any restriction.\nTransports/Tows. These can be taken without restriction. Extra Selections. SUMMARY:Bolt Action Basic Training 2025
DESCRIPTION:This is an introductory event in Berryville\, Virginia\, United States\, to teach brand new players how to play Bolt Action: a World War 2 tabletop wargame! Geared toward players who don’t have any experience with the game (or even any wargame background)\, we will be teaching the basics of the game and providing you with everything you need to try it out. We will have pre-painted armies\, terrain\, and quick reference sheets to help you master the rules as we work through two rounds of play\, with thematic armies that will help you learn how different nations play differently in the game\, guiding your future decisions should you enter the hobby! \nLunch will be provided between the first and second game\, with the first game focusing on the rifle platoon and some supporting elements which are the core of the game\, and the second round will add some tanks to your force because\, let’s face it\, tanks are cool! And we love them! And they are really good in Bolt Action as well\, so investing in your favourite tank kit and adding one to your force is a great idea.
