SUMMARY:Caladrius Games Escalation & Veni\, Vidi\, Vici Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Currently we have a small informal local Bolt Action community comprised of new players\nand a few seasoned tournament veterans (one 2023 WTC participant). Our goal is entice\nmore players\, educate everyone on the new 3rd Edition rule set and build a sense of\ncollegial competition. We have designed a simple and straightforward set of rules for the\nescalation league designed to value education over competition. The culmination will be a\ncompetitive format tournament in August we are calling “Veni\, Vidi\, Vici”. In addition to\npromotional flyers in area game stores\, we have tried to weekly build hype and draw in new\nplayers via Caladrius Games (host store) Facebook site\, as well as both Georgia and\nTennessee Bolt Action Facebook groups. Thus far the response has been bigger than we\nreasonably hoped. January 26th we are hosting a kicko event to introduce everyone to\nthe format\, familiarize with the 3 terrain tables we have built for the league and answer any\nquestions regarding the league\, tournament or 3rd Edition rule set. This will include free\nhamburgers and hotdogs to hopefully entice any fence sitters and allow for socializing.\nMyself and another player have offered free loaner armies for anyone that would like to play\nbut may have nancial constraints.

We have a great mix of competitive players\, narrative players\, and those who focus on the building and painting aspect\, so no matter what you are looking for\, someone here shares your passion. SUMMARY:Bolt Action Boot Camp
DESCRIPTION:We have a 6 week learn to play league kicking off next week\, and we have 21 players registered. 8 of the players have less than 5 games total of bolt action under their belt and even more have barely touched V3. We had our pre league intro night yesterday and had 10 people playing at once on a Monday evening. As well as victory points we are doing a hobby competition with the goal of building and painting a 1000pts force from scratch in ~2 months.

DESCRIPTION:Op Whisky Trail is in the heart of the Whisky distilling country in the north of Scotland. \n2025 sees the return of this popular event aimed at inexperienced and Veteran players alike. \n1 day covering 3 games at 1150Pts using the full force of V3 rules and available “Armies of ” books. \nMissions on the day are direct from the book with a couple of tweaks and secondary objectives for players to fight over and show their skill. \nAs part of the Scottish Championship series of 10 events run through the year this is the 3rd scoring event. \nThe top 10 players gain points towards their overall placing and selection to represent Scotland in 2026 at national and international events. \nWhether you are battle hardened or taking your first steps into this immersive hobby\, this is a great event with friendly banter and beautifully set out gaming tables. \n2026 will see the return of the 36 player 2 day event run in 2024.
