SUMMARY:Battle for Stalingrad!
DESCRIPTION:The Battle for Stalingrad is an immersive\, non competitive 2 day event which will see a total of 20 played scenarios chosen from Warlord Games’ Stalingrad and Case Blue campaign books. These Scenarios will involve steppe fighting before the siege of Stalingrad\, scenarios of the Soviet counteroffensive in the snowy\, frozen Winter of 43 and of course scenarios within the city where Germans and Soviets will fight for every inch on the game board. Iconic fights such as the Concrete Monolith and Pavlov’s house are among a long list of the many bloody battles that will be fought. \nFriuli War Games\, with this event\, is trying to organize a proper “Bolt Action Experience”. where players coming from all over Italy will feel immersed in these historic battles. The main goal if everyone to have as much fun as possible and to feel like they’re on the battle field with the (plastic) troops. With this mentality\, the group is looking to create a one of a kind event in Italy\, and to create a format which can be used for other campaigns in the future. We are working very hard to create the best quality tables and scenarios as possible\, to build a strong community for this more historical way of playing the beautiful game that is Bolt Action.  \nPictures and battle reports will follow the event…With Battle for Stalingrad we will be saying “goodbye V2 and welcome V3” as this event will be played using the V2 rules not having enough time to experiment with the new rules.

SUMMARY:Southern Thrust 2024
DESCRIPTION:3rd annual Southern thrust event\, on the West Australian Bolt action calendar is held as the only main Bolt action event outside our capital Perth. It is the perfect opportunity for a road trip with friends or family offering two half days of play in the beautiful town of Albany\, on a West Australian long weekend!\n It is unique in that it has minimal restrictions on what you may bring but instead offers critical incentives to create a more balanced or themed list by way of list selection that counts towards your tournament victory points every game! As the custom secondaries reward those themed list selections for achieving actions\, even if you are behind on the Victory points awarded for a specific mission your still capable of a round win for having a more opponent friendly list.\nThis year we are allowing dual platoons. 1201pts and a 17 order dice cap. Games are 2.5hrs across Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Dinner on Saturday is provided after the days play for anyone that wishes to hang around and socialise.
