SUMMARY:Battle for Stalingrad!
DESCRIPTION:The Battle for Stalingrad is an immersive\, non competitive 2 day event which will see a total of 20 played scenarios chosen from Warlord Games’ Stalingrad and Case Blue campaign books. These Scenarios will involve steppe fighting before the siege of Stalingrad\, scenarios of the Soviet counteroffensive in the snowy\, frozen Winter of 43 and of course scenarios within the city where Germans and Soviets will fight for every inch on the game board. Iconic fights such as the Concrete Monolith and Pavlov’s house are among a long list of the many bloody battles that will be fought. \nFriuli War Games\, with this event\, is trying to organize a proper “Bolt Action Experience”. where players coming from all over Italy will feel immersed in these historic battles. The main goal if everyone to have as much fun as possible and to feel like they’re on the battle field with the (plastic) troops. With this mentality\, the group is looking to create a one of a kind event in Italy\, and to create a format which can be used for other campaigns in the future. We are working very hard to create the best quality tables and scenarios as possible\, to build a strong community for this more historical way of playing the beautiful game that is Bolt Action.  \nPictures and battle reports will follow the event…With Battle for Stalingrad we will be saying “goodbye V2 and welcome V3” as this event will be played using the V2 rules not having enough time to experiment with the new rules.

We will then bring your order with us to the event and you can pay for your items when you pick them up. \nWe’ve worked to bring some of your favourite miniature manufacturers and traders from all genres and sizes. They’ll be there with products galore\, and demo games so you can have a go. \nThat’s not all though\, we’ve also expanded\, and have some wonderful UK based board game companies coming along to show off their great games\, and offer demos so you can try them out before you buy. \nWe’ve also got some great clubs and individuals from all across Scotland running games for you to come and play from historical\, to fantasy and sci-fi\, tabletop\, boardgames\, and RPG. \nWe hope you join us in bringing this show to Glasgow\, so that wargamers\, boardgamers and roleplayers can get together for a day of gaming and browsing of traders. \nWhile we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Glasgow Games Gathering are accurate\, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
