SUMMARY:Battle for Stalingrad!
DESCRIPTION:The Battle for Stalingrad is an immersive\, non competitive 2 day event which will see a total of 20 played scenarios chosen from Warlord Games’ Stalingrad and Case Blue campaign books. These Scenarios will involve steppe fighting before the siege of Stalingrad\, scenarios of the Soviet counteroffensive in the snowy\, frozen Winter of 43 and of course scenarios within the city where Germans and Soviets will fight for every inch on the game board. Iconic fights such as the Concrete Monolith and Pavlov’s house are among a long list of the many bloody battles that will be fought. \nFriuli War Games\, with this event\, is trying to organize a proper “Bolt Action Experience”. where players coming from all over Italy will feel immersed in these historic battles. The main goal if everyone to have as much fun as possible and to feel like they’re on the battle field with the (plastic) troops. With this mentality\, the group is looking to create a one of a kind event in Italy\, and to create a format which can be used for other campaigns in the future. We are working very hard to create the best quality tables and scenarios as possible\, to build a strong community for this more historical way of playing the beautiful game that is Bolt Action.  \nPictures and battle reports will follow the event…With Battle for Stalingrad we will be saying “goodbye V2 and welcome V3” as this event will be played using the V2 rules not having enough time to experiment with the new rules.

Please be aware there will be a 1 point tournament deduction for late entries.\nPrice is £12.00 per registrant.\n \nPrizes will be awarded for the top two finishers (and possibly more depending on numbers)\nRules\nForce restrictions are as follows: – Max 2 Platoons other than that follow generic or theater selections. \nRules :We are using Rules as written from the main rule book version 2. \nWhat to Bring: \n\nA good Attitude!\nOrder dice are mandatory (suggest two sets if available)\, tape measure\, pin markers\, and abunch of D6.\nAn Army! (All miniatures must be WYSIWYG and have at least a basic paint job).\nA rule book and any errata or FAQ you may think is relevant \nTwo hard copies of your army list.\n\nMissions: \nStandard rule book missions will be randomly determined once all participants have registeredand submitted a list. SUMMARY:Battleground 2019: Stockton-on-Tees
DESCRIPTION:he Battleground show\, established in 2009\, started life as Smoggycon\, and was organised by Stuart Johnston and the Middlesbrough Gamers Club.  From 2013\, Pendraken Miniatures took over the organising of the show\, with the aim to build on the excellent foundations already in place. \n\nFor 2014\, the show moved to a new home\, at the Queens Campus Sports Hall\, in Stockton-on-Tees.  This building is part of the Stockton Campus of Durham University\, and provides a modern spacious hall\, able to house a bigger number of games and traders\, as well as offering local attractions and nearby shopping facilities for our visitors.  The new venue received a very positive response from the visitors. \n\nOur main aim is to constantly improve the show\, making it into one of the major shows in the north of England.  We hope you’ll come along and join us for a great day out!
